For me, we gotta go back to the beginning, and it's Detective, Jackie Curatola played by Jennifer Esposito. She was the best, maybe she'll come back. She did show up on season 13, afterall.
The scene at the end with Eddie is hard for me to watch. I lost my wife last year to Covid. Because it was COVID I wasn’t allowed to visit her. I called her as often as they would let me and I begged her to fight, just like Danny and Eddie did. I was called one night and they told me she was getting better. I slept like a baby for the first time in days. The next morning she died. I love and miss you honey. I know you tried and I know you fought as hard as you could.
Which season is this? I love them all. One character wouldn't be interesting without the others. Good, tough, sensitive, Police Commissioner; Smart, tough Detective; Extremely Smart Assistant DA; a Street Cop with lawyer's intelligence; and retired, former cop and commissioner grandpa. Loved Linda and kids. Not to mention intelligent, beautiful daughter, granddaughter. Plus the other actors make a great show.
I have a soft spot for Henry…he can speak freely now that he isn’t a cop and I find myself hearing him say exactly what I was thinking on a lot of stuff . Otherwise I like Jamie…Hes always calm and gets his guy without having to break any rules. Danny doesn’t have the brains to do that but I love how he isn’t afraid to do what’s needed when it’s called for
I don't care if you're his wife daughter grandparent or whatever, you don't run into the ER, and start screaming at the top of your lungs to "fight" . Lol
You might, absolutely. Til you've been there with a loved one's life hanging in the balance you have no way to know what your true response will be. When my 8 year old son was in emergency surgery for a blood clot that developed in his throat a few days after his tonsils were removed, blood pouring from his mouth everywhere- I started crying, praying out loud for God to save him and I didn't stop. Didn't care who heard or who liked it, I was loud enough for the whole place to hear. I wanted God to hear me, my only thought was my baby & nothing else ever entered my mind. God DID, and my boy is 41 now. In ministry, as a matter of fact. I've never been embarrassed bc people heard me.
It’s hard to pick one favorite since l love them all. If I had to it would be a tie, between Frank and Danny. I especially love Anthony and Joe,and hope to see more of them in the new season.❤
If ever there was a storyline Blue Bloods messed up royally, it's this one. #1 They never should have squished into one episode. #2 Frank should have been there the whole freaking time!
I’ve heard of this show & have thought about watching it - so I wanted to ask a question. Compared to other cop shows (current & past), which show is this one most similar to? Since cop series is like all other type series & can be hit or miss within the genre depending on an individual’s tastes, I’m trying to figure out whether or not I’d like it. If it helps, I’ve watched & liked the following shows: Law & Order Law & Order SVU The Shield The Rookie The Rookie Feds Any thoughts?
Blue Bloods is basically a family of cops. They interact on the job and in their personal lives. Most gratifying is their Sunday family dinner scenes. They are a real family-always there for each other. They show up and show out.
Anyone want to tell me how in the NYPD training, they missed the part where you stay behind cover... did you notice none of these three officers called Central to describe the boat that was leaving with the homicide suspect who just shot a cop
He called for backup right away. He only got shot because he yelled out a warning when the suspect saw Joe and Danny getting out of the car looking clearly like cops and was about to shoot them. Jamie got shot trying to save his family.
@@kgo5335 There is nothing wrong with that. It’s when his wife does the same thing. That it’s like what’s next everyone in the family forms a line to say who they are to Jaime and to take care of him. The smart thing would be to let the doctors help him as fast as possible. That’s all I’m saying.
@dx7689 she's scared and mentions that she is his wife so she can get the information she needs to see if he's okay. Any GOOD wife would have done the same thing. It's strange that some how it's okay for Danny to do it but not Eddie
@@crisvanfanYes!! I understand her being upset but not to the point you're interfering. What is screaming gonna do? Nothing. I am so sorry to hear that - thank you for sharing. I lost my mom a few months ago - it’s an unfair world at times.
I am so sorry to hear that.
I’m so sorry. Life can certainly be hard and unfair. It’s never easy losing your soul mate and partner. I can tell you that from experience.
Condolences my friend...love transcends all...
Truly sorry for your loss
I love Danny. He's all fire and ice and knows when each scenario is appropriate. If I was in trouble he's the cop I want on my case.
I totally agree. Any other favourite Danny moments?
really. i would prefer Det. Andy Sipowitz on my case

Loved how this case involved the whole family in the storyline. It's rare to have an episode where everyone is somehow involved in the same case.
Totally agree - love seeing the whole family together.

When your baby brother calls out your name in distress. That hits hard.
The way his big brother instincts came out instantly 😭❤️

That bad guy is no joke. One handed, one shot, long range....and he got a torso hit.
I’m sure that’s not where he was aiming. But a hit is a hit I guess.
Eddie is the best part of this scene (and the show). She was so scared for her hubby and she has every right to be.
