    Step 1, edge the grass away from the sidewalk and remove mulch

    Great video!! I used this for my driveway, sidewalks and porches then it rained about 3.5 hours later. My weather APP said it would be clear for 24 hours dang it lol. I pressure washed everything 3 times (Scott’s oxy clean, 30 Seconds outdoor cleaner and then Zep’s driveway cleaner). I’m hoping it will hold up. I just did one coat so I’m hoping that not all of it washed away and I can apply one more coat. There’s too much rain to see it bead up.

      Thanks! It rain sooner than. I wanted on this run as well. I agree one more coat wouldn't hurt once it dries out. I bet it already looks really good dry

      Now it won’t stop raining. I think a lot of the sealant was washed away.

      I am sure it can, but have not tried it. I have platinum ice travertine around the pool at my new house, but do not plan to seal it

    Hi I want to enhance my back hardscape and driveway. The contractor was using a lacquered product. I want to bring back the richness of the colors but I’m not a fan of the wet shiny look. I prefer more of a Matt finish. Is this product really glossy? Also is it slippery when wet? I was considering the foundation at our wl550.

    • @BtwilliasGarage
      @BtwilliasGarage  Рік тому

      This product is quite shiny, but not slippery when wet. It more looks wet than shiny though. You may be better suited for another product, but I'm sure you would be happy if you used it

    I'm looking to seal my exposed aggregate this weekend, and am considering this product. Can you please give us an update on you pathway after 2 years? Also, was it slick to walk on after it got wet? Looking for honest reviews. Thanks

    • @BtwilliasGarage
      @BtwilliasGarage  2 роки тому +1

      It is still looking great, but is likely approaching the time for a redo. I'd say this is a 3 year or so product. It was not slick to walk on after it dried, even when it rained. Enjoy

      I think mine has enough sand still, our pavers is about 2 years old, the color faded away a bit because i keep watering it instead of using a blower to remove dirt.
      Will this sealing help restore the color?
      I really appreciate your response.

    • @BtwilliasGarage
      @BtwilliasGarage  2 роки тому

      @@ojayojeda2846 it will definitely bring back a deep shine to the pavers and slightly brighten the color. Take a nice before after and you will be happy with the difference. Best of luck and thanks for the kind words!

      It’s a walkway not a driveway. You should fill the joints with polymeric sand before sealing

    how long does it last till it starts to peel?

    • @BtwilliasGarage
      @BtwilliasGarage  2 роки тому +1

      It never peels, just wears off. Mine still looks good now and I haven't touched it since this video other than a pressure wash. I'd say you need to do it every 3-4 years or so?

      It can be applied to marble right? We have a 4 tall walls to do.
      What's the best way to apply this?

    • @BtwilliasGarage
      @BtwilliasGarage  3 роки тому +1

      I don't see why not, but check with the label. I assume the process would be the exact same, but I don't own marble, so double check that before coating it

    • @LeoCampos2
      @LeoCampos2 3 роки тому

      @@BtwilliasGarage the label says it's not recommended for Marble.
      I used it anyways in a hidden area, the customer didn't like it, he wanted something to shine really well but it didn't. It's porous marble doesn't have any shine all.

    • @BtwilliasGarage
      @BtwilliasGarage  3 роки тому

      Ah that sucks. I'm sure there is something out there that can help without making it too slippery. Best of luck

    I would have had to clear all the grass and mulch away from the sidewalk. Also when using this product on concrete that has efflorescence, it will produce a white cloudy look that will make you scream bloody murder so make sure you clean any of that off.

    This is great stuff,look no further then behr wet look seal for that nice dull milky shine you've always wanted,guaranteed to keep those floors shiny for 6 months,and an added tip,make sure you "roll back" smoothly for those nice roller lines after spraying for that awesome look you've paid lots of money for,lol,complete junk.
