@@AuthenticMage It is possible but he would have to be somewhat successful on the track to command big money in the breeding shed I guess if I had the money to take a gamble on a $3,000,000 horse I probably would but for now I just buy shares in horses with My-Racehorse, I recently bought into two horses not expecting to ever see a penny back. One is a son of American Pharoah, he ran 3rd in his 1st race and should be running again soon. I also bought into a daughter of Nyquist, she hasn't had her 1st race yet.
@@robertlosasso4222 I don't mind that someone else paid 3 million I think I started by saying the pride of being the owner but from an investment point of view I think it's a big gamble, some of the best horses aren't as successful in the breeding barn as they were on the track.
Been there. So many beautiful horses. But you wonder once their racing days are over, what happens to them if not good sires. To many end up neglected & sent to slaughter. Like poor Ferdinand, once not servicing mares, he was thrown away. A Kentucky Derby winner. .
