In regards to the discussion on what is considered retro gaming: as someone who worked at GameStop for 5 years and only quit very recently, we considered anything older then the Wii retro; anything older then ps3 retro; and anything older then xbox360 retro. So ps2, ps1, original Xbox, Gameboy, GameCube, etc all of that and older is considered retro by GameStop's standards. And the Wii/Wii u, PS3, and Xbox 360 are starting to work their way off the shelves and into the retro category, too. I'm sure ds would probably still be considered retro at some point too, but most GameStop stores (at least in my district) only carry "retro" games online, but DS games still sell pretty well so I'm not sure if they'll move them to online only anytime soon or not.
This game is cute for what it is but the fact it’s full price deters me from getting it, if this was at half price and not treated as equal as Mario Odyssey or any other game that Nintendo has released I’d be more willing to try it
I kind of agree, that's why I got this game with a NSO voucher. I can easily spend 50 dollars on this rather than 60. Still a wonderful and cute game overall though
yeah, and stuff like some of the super laggy ingame parts like the loading screen or threads snapping (even though it doesn’t affect gameplay much) annoy me too, game companies but especially one as big as nintendo should not release games w those types of problems
I am incredibly late for this one, but this really makes me think the whole damsel in distress deal is elaborate flirting with Mario or some kind of test that Bowser is in on.
