Not only is Plan B one of, if not, the best UK rapper. All of his songs tell stories, mostly true, this is why he is so successful, that and he can do nearly any genre!
this boi speaks as it is lyk... he talks of what is wrong with not only the brit society but with societ all round the uk and ireland ... well done man keep it up...
This song couldn't be more relevant right now. Kids talk about "respec" they can't spell it and don't even know the meaning of the word. When I was young we respected our elders and never questioned why we had to. We would never have destroyed our communities the way kids have done since 6th August 2011 in London, Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham.
P.S. Big Up Plan B his music is awesome and the things he sings about always seems to provoke discussion. Its good to see that rather than being subjected to all that bland pop crap that isnt really about anything important. We need more artists like Plan B.
Even tho I'm not a fan of rap these are the best lyrics I've ever heard! This guy doesn't talk about shit like 50 cent, he is making a point instead of making drugs sound good or all that crap.
Wow! There is nothing like an intelligent, articulate response to a comment to give ones opinion some credibility. However, Johnson - at least you had the foresight to give yourself an apt user-name: "Teflon is a nickname given to persons, particularly in politics, to whom criticism does not seem to stick." Thanks Wiki for that.
@craigsskeldon this song is about damilola taylor (im not good with the spelling) he was the first big death on london streets caused by teenagers, but yes the rest of his songs on this CD are all related to real storys and have meaning as do his new songs
For those of you thinking he's bigging himself up in this tune, you aint listening to the lyrics. He's ripping the kind of people that live like this, not making out its his was at all.
@RustyL121 he even says he has made up the songs and it is a story because nothing that bad has happened to him. also the reason he is doing songs like he does at the moment e.g. she said is to explore new genres. as he has said he wants to do a reggae album. this is because he is a skilled enough artist to do this. and not just narrow minded like most artists.
@greyglee London is one of the most multicultural cities in the world im sure we got italian ganstas aswell as russian, asian, well you name it we probably have it somewhere in london
@RustyL121 he is showing people what some of the youth today are like by being one in the song. Hees not acting big, he is getting into the mind frame of a kid to tell a story. He is more clever than most think. You've missed the point.
Love seeing people trying to downgrade artists like Plan B. Shows their ignorance and stupidity ! This is what I call talent, a person who can stay true ;) Plan B all the way!
nice one!!! cheers JustMuz......known i know who elliot ness is i can understand what im listening too when elliot ness is brought up in someones lyrics,CHEERS MATEY!!!
His new album is back to this. Pure lyrics speaking the truth of underground Britain. I actually think his new album is a better version of who needs actions.
@2ScoopsandIceFan..........yeah, especially as he nicked it off Klashnekoff.... oh and while I'm at it, the Elliot Ness lyric is from California Love!! B's still sik tho..
@k0urf4th3r Yeah, the reason he mentions Pokemon cards is to make a point about how these kids really are kids - despite the shit they're doing they're still little kids with little kids' interests. This song is loosely about the Damilola Taylor killers, by the way.

late reply but to squad6661, your right he doesnt need to swear alot but his album is parental advisory so young kids arnt really gonna be listenin to this but teenagers are and they have heard every swear word there is so they wont give a fuck really will they. I respect plan b alot because he speaks so much truth and makes an excellent point in his songs. He raps about how the world is today and the mentality of people and teenagers. He is an urban poet and you should respect that.
he's not a chav in the respect that he never grew up on a council estate, he's middle class. he admitted making stuff up in his songs because he never experienced stuff like this growing up.
Not only is Plan B one of, if not, the best UK rapper. All of his songs tell stories, mostly true, this is why he is so successful, that and he can do nearly any genre!
