Great Review Bob, even for someone who has no current interest in terrain this looks like a lot of fun to assemble and paint. Love the modularity and the transportability, and also that the whole unit once assembled is locked in place.

I’ve been looking at terrain like this for awhile. I’m really glad there is something that is cheaper than DF while still being decent quality.

How often do people who own terrain tiles use them? And is it usually specific to current location or a mishmash of whatever tiles are in the bin?

I would love to play RPG session live with people and if someone would put such nice dungeon tiles it would be awesome.
Unfortunately due to lack of time I'm left with Online gaming (and yet still got issues finding time for that :P).
    Nice review Bob!

I can appreciate the quality of the end product, but it doesn't look like they really tried to recreate any of the environmental cues from any of Abomination Vaults, instead it has a generic Cthluhu + Tentacles theme. As a product of it's own it looks great, as something to be used in Abomination Vaults it's quite wanting.

Those pieces look really light. Personally I like a good heavy terrain piece. I am not sure if your dwarven forge terrain is magnetic, but if it is getting some terrain trays really help with that. And if the price is the thing, not really seeing the difference here... these things are like 69 bucks...dwarven forge is not only more robust, but the price is comparable. I would say the only problem they have is keeping enough stock for everyone who wants to buy it.
