In the Mid-East gulf countries it must have been a trend of Pakistani restaurants thinggy, to have different types of buffet style cuisine only on fridays, from lunch to dinner with a wide range of prices to choose from, depending on the restaurant standards and pedigrees.

How easy must it be not to question if it's halal or not. In buffets here unless it's nawaabs etc you have to chose the halal options
To be fair there are many fully halal Muslim owned buffets in the UK. Many.
Only the Chinese food is good there
