I wish I had 54 000 crafting
Then save your lootboxes & save your crafting mats.
I spend them as soon as I get them on common skins and quips. It increases the chances of getting more crafting materials and uncommon cosmetics per pack. I've saved up to 1,800 a couple times to get legendaries but it's really only worth doing for events.

I had been saving my crafting for nearly 5 years I was able to get most of it I ended up paying about 60 dollars for the rest of the event

I was one of the lucky 1% that got the buster sword out of the packs. I bought a 4 pack of the event packs and on the 3rd one I got it. I honestly didn't believe my luck and thought it was wayyy easier to get because I don't have that kind of luck normally. Anyways, its a cool heirloom!

Some guy set out to make as many accounts possible and open every free pack to see how hard is it to get, pretty sure he made about 1000 accounts? And still didn't get it. In short you're pretty damn lucky

Had it been regular price and able to be crafted with mythic shards I would have copped but the fact they didn’t even allow us to buy any of the items did it for me

I have almost 20.000 craftings and save them for Caustics heirloom recolor, so I can get it without paying money. You need 38.400 to craft the whole event but I think I will go and do a hybrid with crafting all epics plus the legendaries I can afford and buy the rest with event packs. I hope Caustics heirloom recolor takes a while so I can get all the stuff I need

Ok, the ONLY good thing about spending all this money is that it’s a Universal Heirloom. Meaning you won’t have to spend money on any future heirlooms again.

For most players its as simple as that:
Just survive at all cost, keep fighting, keep moving be lucky.
High kill and high damage games do have usually 1 thing in common:
No ring pressure, while being constantly in fights, winning all these fights and having enough ammo and heals and a high number of players in the late game.
This is happening extremely rarely but there are factors you can control by teamplay:
Lifeline + What ever you want to play, evac towers and game sense and you can pretty much get a 4k in pubs on a daily basis if your mechanically consistent and the spirit on your team is right + you know how to engage and disengage and being able to handle third party.
With the right coms you can still get a 4k or 20 bomb today, i had in the last 3 days 2 games of close to 4k and i was not even playing for it, my team mate had 1 4k and also 1 close to 4k in the same session. So its not hard.
Our strat:
Hot drop. Win, loot up quickly. Evac tower to the next fight. repeat. Lifline + octain + 1 Random as a meat shield. Works pretty well.

It’s ridiculous that years of saving crafting materials is only good for one event. Regular players have no chance
So if they're heirloom hit for 60 will they change the damage for the other heirlooms to hear for 60 cuz we paid
He got the iconics in the last 6 packs and the sword in the last. Shows how much they manipulate RNG when you dont spend money

You're the only one that has a rare animation for the buster sword. I seen it in your live stream. When you pull it out you'll throw it in front of you and the spin it while it's horizontal then grab to put it over your shoulder.
If I'm wrong please do tell me I'm curious to see other animations.
Edit: I just made a clip of it on twitch hopefully you'll be able to find it.

Someone tell me how I use crafting mats to buy packs. I have also a fudge load saved from the beginning and I’ve never seen how I can use them in packs only on skins/emotes etc. think I have about 30k
