Schatz is *ALL* class. So fun to still be watching him decades later.
It's insane how horrible the accidents look but the drivers walk away Scott free. Real testament to the safety of these cars!

I am a PA Posse fan with Brent Marks as my favorite driver but I have always given credit to the ASCOC and other drivers like Gio Sczlei, Brian Brown, Rico Abreu etc when they do well. All of these drivers are proof that there are alot more talent out there then just the WOO regulars with people like you that probably only feel like the WOO has the best drivers no matter where they are from in the USA, Australia etc. The PA Posse, the independent California drivers or independent drivers from anywhere and drivers in the ASCOC have easily been competitive against the WOO and the WOO isn't feared like they once were when Donny Schatz was the master or when Steve Kinser was the master. Now with Brad Sweet as their champion big deal, especially if he can only win 5 races in a year like he did this year with no big money wins. Brad Sweet is the master of $10000 races is all he done this year and did nothing special for the big money races.
I just love watching this racing being an Australian i root for James Mcfadden i do hope you boys are heading down under this year we have missed out for several years very entertaining racing come on fellas we need you to keep speedway alive in Australia.
much different racing over there to what we get isn't it mate! Imagine these guys at Mount Gambier or Murray Bridge where the tracks look much tighter. James sure kicks butt when he is home thats for sure, but we got quite a few great drivers too. Donny is always great to watch, and the yanks are such clean drivers the racing is awesome
I'm pretty sure mcfadden is going back home after the outlaw season ends on Saturday, remembered hearing him say it in an interview. He said he was going to race, but not as much as he used to in the past.

It's nice when it all comes together for a change, meaning of course, a good draw nevers hurts either. I like that Donnie always tries to race clean too.

Donny Schatz won't be the WOO points champion but he will be the WOO money leader for total earnings from race results. Donny Schatz is still the King of WOO post Steve Kinser era.

Plus that Knoxville Nationals win along with the Kings Royal win are the 2 biggest WOO races of the season so atleast Donny Schatz won one of the 2 making him the overall money winner for the WOO regulars and with Brent Marks winning the Kings Royal along with his PA Posse, ASCOC and WOO race results, a non regular WOO driver has won the overall money total from race results 3 years in a row. Brent Marks this year and Kyle Larson the previous 2 years. WOO hasn't been the same or anywhere near close to dominant since Donny Schatz hasn't been their points champion or dominant driver. With Brad Sweet as WOO's champion it seems like outside competitors can compete and often win against the WOO since the WOO doesn't have that dominant champion in recent years.

@@dylanwhitmire7433 coming from the back is a thing of the past.... woo data this year alone is 68% of the a-mains won from front row and thats why they have the stupid dash draw and introduced gambling into racing to create a mirage and trick you that they have parody and competition when the stats show its all up to starting position. The dumb dash shit mixes up who wins you see???? Not the drivers. Can you imagine how many races Macedo would have won this year if he started on the front row everytime? Would of broke a record thats how many. Wings are as big as pickup truck beds creating too much downforce locking the cars down along with the rear tires are getting as big as top fuel dragsters and those two things alone are hurting racing taking driver out of the cars and more emphasis on starting position because the cars are very equal i mean hell lots of teams have the best equipment money can buy now so drivers are being taken more and more out of it and its hurting the sport. Woo is going to blow up soon anyway there to full of themselves and big changes are coming in the sprint car world and Woo seems to be the last entity to understand this so atleast its going to be a very exciting offseason and the big greedy Woo is about to learn about loss the way they officiate the way they treat there drivers and team owners and still paying 10grand to win like it did in 1982 but they have streaming money now higher sanctioning fees for tracks and Woo is the only ones making money and do that share that with there drivers and owners?? No...and do they spread some of that new additional big time revenue from streaming? No...do they up the lousy $10 grand to win? No.... so you see there just one big vacuum sucking up all the money off the sweat of there badass drivers and owners and stick it to the track owners.
Well because there is a thing called qualifying and then the dash the fastest cars of the night will start up front, rarely can a slower car throw wholesale changes to the setup and hit it right to end up being the fastest car so yeah if you start up front it kind of means you've got at least one of the fastest cars there that night and at least one of the fastest cars is going to win so I don't know what you're expecting
@@diychad7268 ohh hell i dont know a race🏁not a parade, its the world of qualifying yes we know where the fast guys from qualifying start on the front row of there heat races, boy thats racing!!! then after they have shown there fast in qualifying and that they can finish 1st or 2nd in the heat which ohh by the way the 2020 through 2022 stats show 99% of the follow the leader heats are won from the front row,yeah yes 99% thats really good, so after the heats the drivers are lined up and asked to be lucky because of a draw thats not racing now is it? And because of that draw it creates a mirage that there sport is competitive. We know it is but why is it u have to be lucky because all the competition has created is who's turn is it next because of a draw that had not a damn thing to do with racing
It happened that Donny was lucky enough to draw the 1 chip out of the NOS can so he was at the front of the dash. You are right that a lot of this is the luck of the draw, but there are other factors too. We've seen quite a few races where someone leads most of the race, but gets passed near the end. What happened to Schuhart and Gravel? In theory they should have been up front. In a sense the racing is more competitive than it has ever been as the cars are very evenly matched, and the pill draws have a leveling effect.
I feel bad for the PA.Posse. Macri was taken out by a driver that didn't hold his line and chopped him while running third.

The real outlaws the last 3 years based off of winning the big money races and the total money overall has been my favorite driver, Brent Marks for this year, and Kyle Larson the previous 2 years. From my experience watching Gio Sczlei competing in PA in recent years and with his performances in WOO and the ASCOC in recent years as well is that I wouldn't be surprised if he will be the top money earner in the country in the next few years, maybe next year even. Don't know if he will be a full time WOO driver soon or stay as this independent traveling driver from California but whatever he does I can see him winning these big money WOO, PA Posse or ASCOC races and getting over $500,000 or over $600,000 in a season in total money earned very soon. Gio Sczlei just has the talent and with more experience watch out.
