eagle hunters engine simulator video of flat 12, is 9/10. lexus lfa is also 10 but eagle hunters concept could be combined with lfa sound elements for even better so maybe such a thing would be 10/10, gordon murray t50 vlog video number 12 , shows what sound slike honda k engine except in v12 form, that would be 8.5/10 the calrity and linearness of that sound could be integrated into my theoretical 10/10 sound. also, maybe man brain with average level of adhd or even rather high level of adhd, cannot comprehend all the parts of sound of my theoretical flat 12, therefore maybe it should be inline 6. i have theoretical engine idea to get rid of spinning parts, so its flat 12 or 6 or 2, probably all the combustions per second one can ever want, it charges electric drive , possibly in wheeel.
It's not the rod bearings that were faulty, it's the people driving them. The engine sounds and feels so good above 6k rpm, people drive at that engine speed all the time. Not many other cars are subjected to that, because they don't inspire it like this car does. It's actually amazing that BMW could warranty a 8300rpm V10 knowing Joe Blow would get in it and immediately ring it's neck over and over.
This thing brings a whole different meaning to "brutal". It screams like it's mad at the world. The fact that it has a SMG (that everyone hates) gives it that much more character. Remember people, we will probably never have cars like this in the future. Everything has a turbo with a perfect powerband and the fastest shifting transmissions and perfect perfect perfect...and now electric too... Sometimes a screaming V10 with a brutal transmission is all you need to disconnect and have a blast.

when I drove to Florida in my E63 M6 my dad drove his camry and we left at the same time from the same place. despite me having infinitely more power than him he could've easily beat me, even though his model doesn't even get great gas mileage, because for me unless I completely ignored the speed limit and risked my life it was more so a race to the next gas station lmfao I think I gassed up about 4 times on the way there averaging about 170-180 per tank... or 10 MPG. around town I will often get like 8 MPG. oh well, we call it smiles per gallon
My younger brother had the e60 m5 and it was absolutely amazing and what a noise through it’s eisenmann system 😮, it was his pride and joy until it was hit from the rear drivers side (rhd). It was repaired but was never the same sometimes not even starting for some reason so it was sold regrettably he admits. Anyway cool video man enjoyed that, the m6 is gorgeous 👌.cheers
I was afraid to buy one because of the notorious engine and gearbox problem. I'm not a bmw guy, but man I like this M6. Possibly I still choose the AMG 6.2L E or C classe with over 500HP, but hats off for the M6 and N/A V10.
Good news is that V10 M5 and M6 are relatively inexpensive to purchase. Bad news is these engines are very very expensive when they go wrong and the SMG gearboxes are too.

The simphony of this V10 is unique. The upshift and downshift are incredible. I just love it, I wish BMW makes similiar engine sounds these days
15 years old and no turbos, that's amazing. Imagine what en e63 m6 would run with a modern DCT, it would be in higher 7's with ease

For me it looks like V10 BMW has better top end acceleration than modern twin-turbo V8 despite having less power.
