They gotta bring this game back or remaster please. Sound tracks were amazing. Who remembers this song playing when you were in the Sewer area looking for Poison Jam? Lol
@Robson Martiliano That's the original JSR, not JSRF. I love both but the HD re-release wasn't entirely up to snuff, if only because some of the songs couldn't be re-licensed for it. I'm kind of afraid of Future suffering the same fate if if did get a remaster. At least there's always the Xbox emulator that's been circulating.
I always associate that part of the game with The Scrappy. I always loved how the radio interference from when that song ended would transition into this song. Was a really nice touch.
So well said lol. The repeating sample/volume fade out/faux echo thing that they did, like at 4:03 for example, in particular is so unique too... I tried making music like this once and noticed it when listening to this track for inspiration... I couldn’t recreate the sound with a delay plugin so they had to have manually used automation on the channel volume to do this which, technically, is really unconventional, lol.
@@risenfromthebog8254 Oh man, I don’t think it’s available online and the file may be lost to time. I’m pretty sure the computer I made it on is still broken somewhere with all the projects on it… sorry. This was quite a while ago now. If I ever find it, I’ll upload and share it :) I remember that I titled it, “Song for Rokkaku Dai” after Rokkaku Dai Heights in JSRF, lol.
@@neirinjoseph6817 there's a bunch of music techniques i've tried to recreate, and it's just so hard without understanding some weird knowledge of sound design. what i hear is spring reverb, with automations on probably the delay/ volume. spring reverb isn't easy to (create) with stock plug-ins, it's like a really fast delay with minor reverb that springs in/out. i sound stupid explaining it. but theres things in other songs far more like (how, what, where???) lets just try to say i attempted (Trifonic - Parks on Fire) now that song is so mind boggling on how the F did this man make that. from a flowing fat bass that speaks, to insane clicks that talk, to insane ambience to insanely technical patterns. dude is a genius.
This is one of those songs you have to have a good pair of headphones or speakers to REALLY enjoy how much of a fat ass bop it is. When listening to it on a cruddy box TV speaker, I always kinda had a passive like to it, but listening to this on a good pair of headphones got me in the zone! It's a subtle but solid bop.

You don't remaster something you mastered the first time. (Okay second but yeah)
I love how the Latch Bros use distortions and echo's in their music, gives it a identity.

I've been looking for this song since my 5th grade year, humming the beat and asking class mates if they recognized the tune.
Such an underrated soundtrack and game
I've always loved this song because it transitioned into another favorite track of mine.
