I ambitiously backed all 4 expansions despite only owning Wayfarers. I figure throughout the next year I’ll pick up the other 2. These podcasts just got me too intrigued! I am very fascinated by the different approaches to the expansions, especially the differences between adding asymmetry in this one vs. adding another layer of depth to scholars without disrupting the existing system. The solo campaign in Moon Saga also very much appeals to me!
Another great episode! The question of music vs TV is tough. My first thought was how much my wife and I share both with each other; but I think TV a little more. She's actually showing me Stargate Atlantis right now! We watched the episode "Sunday" last night. ='( If you know, you know. I'm really excited to hear Era of Experts took some inspiration from Lost Ruins of Arnak. The expansions for those games are great and the leaders really take the game to another level. I was a little hesitant at first that EoE takes Inventors from four rounds to three but I guess that is the best way to maintain proper tension and not make it too easy to do everything. Also, my choice for game to get an expansion would be Endeavor: Age of Sail. I wish there was a solo mode so I could play it more often.
