I still have yet to ride a section of the Colorado Trail that didn't impress me. Junction Creek in Durango, Colorado is as classic as classic gets. This is the go-to after work loop of the Durangatang locals, and for good reason. The high country is still holding a bit of snow currently, but the mid-country is riding nicely. This is part one of a 2-part series showcasing one of the finer sections of the iconic Colorado Trail. I noticed that most trails doesn’t require much peddling in Nate’s trails. How cool it would be to have trails like this. As always, stoked to see such skills on wheels.
The fish tacos at Zia's alone are worth the drive to Durango. The riding is just as tasty though. Nice shred, as usual.
Big fish burrito fan here. Always a worthy stop while riding some of the best trails anywhere.

I love this trail and the whole Dry Fork area. This was the first place I rode out west coming from Ohio back in 1998. Quite an intro to big mountain riding. Great vid as usual. The climbs are long but fair, but that flow on the CT trail seg back to Junction Creek is awesome. Such a well rounded trail system and just outside of town. It would be sweet to see you ride w some lads on a shuttle run on Hermosa Creek. Cheers!

Great video as always Nate! My son and I leave Nashville, TN this Friday for our first-ever CO MTB trip. We'll have 5 days of riding. If you have a moment to answer ... what trails would you recommend for a first-time CO MTB trip? We're staying in the Breckenridge area, but plan on some day trips to Golden and Winter Park as well.
