I have this exact model. live in Texas with high humidity and its constantly draining into a 2 gallon container that we have to drain several times a day. I read the manual but can't seem to find a way to get it to stop draining. can you assist? support hasn't responded back either.
Should route the drain externally if you live somewhere with high humidity
This is exactly what I needed. Thanks man!
Welcome! Hope it keeps you cool
Hi, I have a couple questions. We're buying one of these and I can't find info on what kind of refrigerant is used, so that's number one.
And second, is there any way to turn off the oscillation of the vent and keep it stationary?
I would want it only to blow more upward but so far I can only see options for it to oscillate up and down.
Thanks for this, great video.
Hi I am fairly sure it uses R-410A It is able to be shipped to me in California that has pretty heavy regulations so I am sure it is good....
Yes it can be set to stationary
@@KBReview thank you so much that is really helpful. We've received it but haven't unboxed it just yet so that's great to know. Thanks again.
Best of luck!
how much did your electricity bill go up per month??
I rarely have to use it where I live so hard to say!
Nice review
Thanks!
How about drainage? Is that an issue?
Nope!
Does it need a hook up for the drainage?
@@tacticoolkidstv8458 no it is self evaporating
drainage is definitely an issue - was watching hoping this could help me troubleshoot
@@timothypeterson2682 what its the issue? It works as a dehumidifier
How do you have the drain set up?
Hi it is a built in dehumidifier so it will evaporate most moisture and personally I do not have to drain it in California. If you live somewhere humid it comes with a hose you can route to where you want it to drain
@ 0:17 you say it heats the room! I hope not!
Haha cools the room!
I had one of these, but unfortunately returned it. It didn't cool the room as stated, but more importantly it collected condensation on the control panel top where a pool of water sat and dripped down the sides. Horrible!
Sorry to hear! Probably a different model
I purchased one of these and had it delivered to my house. After I unboxed it, I saw that it was scuffed from top to bottom on both the right-front and left-front. And there was a screw at the bottom of the box that has apparently fallen out of the unit. I was very disappointed in the quality so I sent it back.👎👎
Sounds like a shipping issue
@@KBReview That sounds reasonable. But the unit was wrapped in a plastic bag and then had four long sturdy cardboard braces at the corners, between the plastic bag and the box. So it had to have been damaged before being boxed up.
