BIKEFISHING 3 - Tenkara float fishing

My new Tenkara rod was sitting on a shelf waiting to be used. I have no plans for a trip to trout country (at the moment) but I wanted to try something a little unconventional. So I rigged up a little float and headed out.

Very cool, here in sweden we have float fishing rods that are basically overgrown tenkara rods called "metspö" so this idea isn't as crazy as you thought and it works quite well. Also don't be afraid to throw flies into still water, I catch plenty of roach on klinkhamers so it's not only trout that eat flies!

Ah that cool to hear. I got the idea from this old Chinese guy who frequents one of my local spots. He uses a very long rod with no reel, sort of like a heavier Tenkara rod. Seems to be a pretty universal type of fishing.
