I have the 2023 hybrid and I'm getting 40 Mi per gallon consistently and really enjoy driving the vehicle. I have about 25,000 miles and have had no problems.
From what I've read on Maverick forums it's the Ecoboost version that has had problems. Their hybrid system works well. It's the hybrid system that they the developed with Toyota in the early 2000's.
Absolutely agree but if you join some of the forums and FB groups for these, some people act like they're gonna blow up as soon as you turn it on. Just trying to speak to my experience with it.
I love my 2023 Maverick lariat, I hope everything in it even a 12 foot extension ladder from Menards to my house, I weighed down with six bags of water softener salt, and strapped it down I love mine, and hope to keep it another 10 years
I have a 22 maverick xlt black out package with the 4k tow package. I've been using it for HVAC. i currently have 108k miles on it, no problems at all. Great truck im about to trade in for a 25' maverick but not till the spring. 😀
It was fantastic! Second time out there this year. First time was with the Cayman. Always a blast on the bike too. Was able to explore some new areas. It was very hot when we went though haha.
I guess this is where we are with the "long term" view of reliability in vehicles. When having no problems after just 2 yrs/23k miles, is NOW viewed as "reliable." Soon I fear, having a new vehicle with no major problems after only ONE YEAR, will be viewed as "long term" reliability. It's a good looking Maverick. I'd buy one if they offered a small cab 6' bed version for truck/campershell camping.
I agree with you. It's sad the level of "quality" we've come to accept from manufacturers. A brand new car shouldn't have any issues this early in its life. However if you check online, many Maverick owners report issues early on so I am just sharing my experience.

Hybred is more problematic
Ford has been making hybrids for a while, though not in the numbers they are making now. They should know what they are doing
Appreciate the review but any new car that has problems at 23,000 miles should not even be considered.

Dude can’t wait for your Jeep Gladiator reveal!
Don't spoil the surprise! /Kidding
Your mic is popping
I apologize about that. Fixed it in future videos. It stops popping here after about two minutes in.

They are great vehicles and enough "truck" for 90% who buy midsize and fullsize trucks. Enjoy it!
I've had my 24 Lariat for about 6 weeks now. It is a hybrid. I haven't had any issues yet. I hope they have the bugs worked out by now

What spec 2025 are you going with? 108k miles is a good ownership perspective I'd say! Nice job.
2 bikes and a trailer to Tennessee and back...how was your Dragon trip🤔

Would you accept an RSQ8?
If you love your maverick so much and it does everything you want it to do, why get rid of it?
the clipping mic is so distracting
Sorry about that. It's fixed after 2 min mark or so.
❤
Anything bigger, and you'll have to leave it outside.
Getting dangerously close to not fitting in the garage lol
