Story time, I started my first shift last feb. 1 and yesterday I was introduced to Bar 1, we were just reviewing the cup marks and the sequence for making frappuccino when suddenly there was an order of frappuccino, and my senior barista made me do it 🤣 my hands were shaking as I make the drink, it was spontaneous 🤣🤣
I love these so much. I always get so hungry & thirsty for caffeine after watching them. But I love that I learn something new after each video that I watch. So thank you for educating me on Starbucks drinks!! 🧋

i know this is super old but GOD i love your milk pours for hot espresso drinks. i have a lot of trouble keeping my hand steady w/ it so i'm literally rewatching over and over so i can pay attention to how to do it
I ordered one of the drinks you made here at my local Starbucks and it came out nothing like how you made it. Truly it’s a craft. I didn’t want to tell the barista that it looked nothing like I imagined.

I have a silly question. This happened to me this morning and I knew I could come here for some advice. I had a gaggle of TL's approach my bar before 8 and tell me that I'm supposed to be open for TM/TL 's by 7:30? Since when? I've been opening for months and this never happened. They sort of bullied me into serving them ten minutes before I opened. They claimed that Target Starbucks serves them earlier but I believe this to only be for their benefit.
I'm not sure what the abbreviations for TL/TM is, but just make 'em wait next time. At a cafe I used to work at, we would keep the door locked, lights off, and headsets for the drive thru would stay off until we opened up. If they're bothering you that much about it, continue doing your opening work and/or explain that currently you're doing your opening work to be prepared for when you OPEN.
Sorry you had to deal with them.

I saw one of your drinks...brown sugar shaken espresso with white chocolate and vanilla sweet cream foam. I ordered it and fell in love but it's over 9 bucks! Can you suggest an alternative to maybe order to make it a little cheaper?

Last night we went to Starbucks’ we went to home goods to buy two new tables for are living room to go well with are new couch’ me and my mom also went to chick fla and I got grilled chicken’ then we had to go to another store because my mom had to wait to buy those table’s to fit with are living room’ then we left the store’ and then we went to Taco Bell 🔔 and got everybody else in my family some food.

I have a interview with Starbucks on Saturday I'm super excited is there anything I should be expecting? or be expected to do
omg congrats! as a barista who got hired in october here are my tips;
-come 10 mins early and bring a copy of ur resume
-dress nice but not TOO fancy or anything
- starbucks managers (or my manager specifically) are really just looking for friendly, personable people who they think will deal well with customers! i know everyone says this but really just be yourself. a good interview should feel more like a nice conversation than an interview. don't talk excessively about your resume or what you "will" do on the job. obviously experience is important but in my opinion i feel like starbucks values personality and interpersonal skills more. if you get hired then thats when they will actually access your workplace skills.
- if you do have any relevant experience, its great to share it but focus on experiences concerning making customers happy when things weren't going their way, and how it made you feel fulfilled that you got to make the moment right.
thats a lot of advice haha but good luck im sure you'll do amazing! and if it doesn't work out its not you, its just a wrong place wrong time situation.

I wonder why Starbucks macchiatos have so much milk
They have the same amount of milk as lattes, it’s just proportioned differently (milk on bottom, espresso shots on top) so it looks like a lot!! All espresso/milk based drinks are like 80% milk because espresso is so strong!
They all have the same amount of milk, with lattes it’s stirred in since it’s not a layered drink like the macchiatos. With espresso it is pressed and steam with water, making it stronger.
Wait… I can order a regular drink but just have it blended for the frappacino texture?! MIND BLOWN.
If you don’t mind me asking what city is this?? I work at a target starbucks in California and I never get drink orders like these. Every single order is very basic and just something from the menu. Very little customizations

Venti Iced Coffee seems like the same amount as Tall Iced Coffee.. i usually order a Tall with no ice so it’s basically a large in Starbucks’s measurements lol

I can tell you just from another Starbucks Barista Point of view. I work in a high volume store, Drive thru and all--It is not that aesthetic or calm as this. It's all complete chaos.

as a starbucks barista we do waste a lot of product but some things also expire very quickly. and we do actually measure our ice based off of cup size the extra product happens..

also thought i should reply to this again. yes we produce a lot of waste. i’ve started taking the leftover Frappuccino and giving it to customers if they’d like them (hopefully i don’t get in trouble) but it does make peoples days and gives them new drink ideas they would enjoy

Used to work Starbucks, its display cases are one of the BIGGEST wastes of food that're entirely avoidable. Please just switch to some pictures. It'll save your employees time when opening and comit to the forward thinking that starbucks leads with.
They don’t serve those? In my country the display are served until they are over so they take those out
