With the acrobatic, athletic moves……..I can point out at least one of the saber combat forms that was used. I believe it’s called “Atari”. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong on the word. That was the form that Obi-Wan Kenobi used when he was a Padawan in the Phantom Menace, before he switched to “Soresu” as a knight and master.

I like how Kyle Katarn is the superior fighter to Ven Zallow in this, possibly due to his many duels against Desann, Jerec, Tavion, the Reborn, and the Disciples of Ragnos and the Lost Tribe of the Sith among others. Ven Zallow is no slouch, but Kyle is cut from a different cloth.

Desan and Jerec were beasts but the reborn were scrubs. most reborn could be handled with little difficulty in Jedi outcast and by the Jedi easily as well except for the shadow troopers. The ones in Jedi Academy were better (the reborn sith warriors were but the reborn cultists were hot garbage) still Katan had much more experience and better training. Jedi from any era would have smoked most of the reborn.

Kyle Katarn was the battlemaster of Luke's Jedi Order (not the shit Disney Canon one) where he faced off against multiple dark jedi and sith in training such as desann, Jerec, who was planning to overthrow Palpatine and Vader, disciples of ragnos and lost tribe of the sith. He also fought against Darth Caedus, who was former Jedi and also Luke's nephew who fell to the Dark Side. Kyle was known for mastering the various forms of lightsaber combat while also being extremely powerful with the force, utilizing multiple applications of TK and unusual and uncommon force abilities
Ven Zallow was a Jedi Master who lived in the era of the Old Republic (from the cinematic Deceived trailer), where he and multiple Jedi fought against the invading Sith Army. He was killed by Darth Malgus in the trailer.

Hell even legends Luke Skywalker, the literal greatest Jedi ever said Kyle was one of the best Saber duelists ever.

Overall very good. Clean strikes, confident control. Critiques: spinning borders on excessive given form factor of lightsaber, and a strange unnecessary kick happens with both fighters at around 1:14 ish. Just felt odd. Other than that nice job!!!
I think they could’ve put some money into some actual (plastic at least) plating on the armor (green saber guy)

The story of a man confronting destiny instead of running, strong character and very likable - only took 2 minutes for me to be a fan.

Why not do an unchoreographed fight,just to see who's the better dueler?
...and to make it more interesting by making the "hit detection" make the hit person use one arm less or stand on a leg if hit there...

Imo Zallow slaps. He fought Malgus, arguably the greatest lightsaber specialist in the sith empires history, blow for blow, and even had the advantage for like a solid quarter of the fight, knocking a couple of Malgus teeth out with a well timed hilt strike. Kyle is one of the greatest, but I feel like he would be using the force more for the fight, something Ven wouldn’t let him do when up close and personal
Kyle is New Jedi Order's Battlemaster and one of the best duelists in history. He was a threat to Darth Caedus, who would crush Malgus like a bug.

How do you get the sabers to look like that on camera? I’ve had some trouble getting it to look like the ones from the movie. Great video!
Try changing the exposure.
You'll usually only get a full glow effect if you do that since most lightsabers don't have strong enough lights, so the settings have to be adjusted to account for that.

All do respect I think there is an excessive amount of unnecessary spinning. I love a lot of this and you guys did well with a lot of it, but so much spinning
Oh dear, it looks flashy but you could honestly make these saber fights a lot better without some of the unnecessary jumps and terrible reverse grip stuff.
