    go through your manufacturer's manual first prior to doing this as some manufacturers recommend against using >= 70% alcohol on its probe especially on the lens cover

      They also warn against applying tegaderms directly to the probe. The adhesive will break down the probe surface.

    Looking for a way to draw a blood culture with an US guided iv and this looks way easier

      😂 what!?? Easier than using a sterile gel packet of lubricant? Or even an unopened tube? Bacterial flora lives beneath skin… just clean the skin surface, use common sense, and capture a 1.5-2 mL waste… y’all be doing the most 😅
