Even though her story is very frustrating for those of us who are listening and are not living her life we should be mindful that this could be her way of asking for help. This is an example of trauma bonding. When you've spent your whole life with a toxic family and spouse who gaslights your very existence you lose confidence and self love. We should support our sisters and educate them about self love.

To the lady of this story... I don't blame him for treating you like crap. You allow him to cheat on you, lie to you and mistreat you. How is that your relative can't make him love you, but they could make you go back to him? You said it yourself that you were desperate for a husband and his love, when you two were together. I guess you been holding onto hope and went back to him as soon as your uncle told you to. As bad as what you said he was along with his family, it must not be that bad, since you went back without a fight. There will be no way in hell will I go back to him, if my life and career as successful as you said yours was. Sorry, no family or relative could ever make me go back, no here in the states!
