Is it just me, or is the voice acting all over the place in this?
The first couple voices didn't even sound like characters and more like developers talking about a game, and then it sounded like I heard Amber Lee Connors at one point.
I had to pause the video for a moment because it gave me the impression i had other video playing in another tab

Even if it looks mobile-game, I will be there. SaGa is Square's weirdest litle experiment, and no matter how budget they get there's always SOMETHING cool about them to enjoy.

Saga Frontier was the weirdest jrpg i ever played and i loved it.

The Saga games may look like a "mobile game" but that is how it's always been. The upside is that you can a ton of characters each with it's own backstory so you can mix and match formations.
Give the demo a shot you may like the game and there are tons of branching paths in the full game.
even then, the SaGa games are reminiscent of some of the best mobile RPGS from back in the day like the Chaos Rings series (a comparison that came up a lot in my head while playing Minstrel Song on Steam).
Nah. On PS1 they looked like PS1 games. Mobile games weren't even a thing.

This game is actually quite challenging, and I like it.
The SaGa games are actually all quite challenging, dating back to the game that sort of inspired its style, Final fantasy 2. I couldn't really get into SaGa because of its style, but from what I played, it's pretty nifty. Definitely worth a look

Yes all of them except Frontier II as for now for some reason.
I love the SaGa series, but after waiting for years for a new proper console game this... is not the art style I was expecting. Kawazu is the master of being experimental, for better or worse.
Lot of games are dropping, I kinda let Emerald Beyond slip my mind because of how far the release date was from when it was announced.

Garry Newman and Face Punch Studios (especially Nintendo) if your hearing this, on April 24th I saw a message about the Nintendo Addons being removed but the DCMA claims are 100% fake. There is a person who is an employee of Nintendo and he's the culprit who targeting Garry's Mod, TF2, SFM and more. It's Aaron Peters. On February I saw a video from Crispy Toast that the Mario Addons were gone and when I played GMod some of the Mario Addons were gone but being brought back. Crispy Toast found out who it was and it turned out to be Aaron Peters. If the Gmod animators hear this to, it's Aaron Peters who destroying everything. So let's get him back and send him to justice and save the Nintendo Addons from this person. So please Garry Newman and Face Punch Studios, we need to get the Nintendo Addons back. We'll help you stop this nightmare by stopping Arron Peters. Arron Peters need to be fired and be arrested for this. So please let us help you and fight back. Also the Mario Kart maps in TF2 are originals because of lots of great random stuff like the Luck Star opening on the screen and more. So let us stand up and stop Aaron Peters from doing this.
Between this and Eiyuden chronicles coming out, we've got a bunch of RPG goodness on our hands, specifically for fans of the SaGa and Suikoden series

"Pumping them out" is quite the overstatement, the last new game was almost a decade ago and before that it was several decades ago xD
@@Jordan3DS 14 years is not "several decades" it isn't even a decade and a half. Also there have been multiple mobile/browser games in between the release of this one and the last one even. Mainline or no, a game is a game and their statement isn't wholly inaccurate. (There was also a mobile game and a browser game released between Unlimited Saga and SaGa: Scarlet Grace)

Just grabbed my copy on Steam! Hoping we’ll finally see SaGa Frontier 2 get announced by the end of the year as it’s still in development.
Huh, they sure have been putting a lot of new installments for this series. I got Minstrel Song and Frontier a while ago and have had Scarlet Grace for some time now, but I'm not sure if I should add more to my backlog.
Huge rpg fan, but something about this feels off. I dunno, will add to my wishlist.

SaGa games are very much a love it or hate it kinda series, even among RPG fans.
If there’s a demo, I’d recommend giving it a try, and if it’s not your cup of tea no biggie. If it ends up clicking with you, you have a lot of games you can catch up on after that.

I play the demo and found this game a little lacking in comparison to what Eiyuden is shaping up to be, so this might be a skip: besides, I have enough games to finish before trails to daybreak
I am thinking the next skylanders game will be all 6 wii games into a big game you can unlock skylanders by collecting the soul gems and your start with the first game with spryo and grill Grant and trigger happy cool right please think about it please its my dream game

Gameplay is the best part of the game.
There's a demo out if you want to try it, every system has a different character available for the demo, the Switch lets you play as the witch Ameya.
The overworld gameplay so far has been pretty basic point-and-click adventure game fare, but the battle system is surprisingly amazing and has a ton of depth. Setting up a crazy party combo is a ton of fun lol
Definitely not for everyone but it's worth checking out if you're like me and are crazy for good turn based battles.

No physicsl release with english at the current moment kinda makes this a pass for me.

As long as its not due to corporate meddling, I think its cool from a diversity standpoint to have a character who i presume is dressed in traditional Islamic clothing standing toe to toe with other characters who are more traditional jrpg types. Its like this game is 90% jrpg 10% isakei due to that part of the cast. Also apologies if im completely misunderstanding all of this lol
