these young men have got their act together-unusual for their age-everyone of them are excellent in their craft-fabulous voice-amazing guitars, wonderful keyboard-unbelievable drums!!!!love all your songs my favorites being Heat Above, highway tune-the best is meeting the master-stay true to yourselves dont sell out
YES! Absolutely! Great interview! Interesting content filled with modern nostalgic! An equally, humble respect amongst everyone forms great relationships!
These guys have their acts together, they are making good music, they were brought up to show respect to other people and appreciate the work of other artist in their profession. They are doing good in the world and making people happy. On top of all of that they are having fun and enjoy what they are doing. They are a winning act and should have a long career. Thank you Joe for an excellent interview and introducing me to this talented young group.
The world needed a awesome band like these four young men. Talented, intelligent, funny, and mostly entertaining. Thank you for blessing the world with your awesome music GVF!
I’m simply love GVF music! They are the whole package. Impressed with their intellectual views with music and life, being so young. I’m a fan and can’t wait to see them. I’m a concert freak for the last 42 years. It’s my hobby! So, at 57 they are on my bucket list, and I’m going to see them as much as I can! Great interview! Great Band! They will be be around a very long time!
This series of interviews was just amazing! They're so committed to their truth and respectful when answering everything. I loved the questions, they were different than the ones people normally ask them and consequently sounding repetitive. It was possible to see they were feeling very comfortable! It was awesome, I could stay watching them talk for hours 🥰
What a great series of interviews. Informative and entertaining. You do an excellent job of keeping things going, yet also allowing the conversation to flow and drift. Often, the highlights of an interview are in the detours that happen. Thank you for sharing your talents with us, and of course for bringing to our attention these gifted young men. They are well spoken and intelligent- and there is always an atmosphere of joy about them. Good people. They lift us up. ✌💖🤝
Awesome to see/hear these younger guys so passionate and skilled playing solid rock and roll music. I hope they keep it together, their future is bright!
Joe - thanks for this post - I have watched a lot of interviews but they all seem to be so engaged with you and loving hanging out -Jake seems like he could talk to you for days. And yep- there is something about music in a car...I used to get in my dad's car on a Saturday afternoon and just lie on the backseat listening to the radio.
Ya did it again Joe! I watched all three parts, plus the extra with Duane Eddy. Fantastic! These kids must have really great parents. They're obviously very well educated, whether formally or just by sheer surroundings, their vocabulary not only far surpasses any other post-millennials I have ever encountered, but even some adults who are two generations older; they are articulate and well-spoken too. They appear very well grounded, and grateful for what they have. Thank you as always Joe!
What a wonderful interview series. I had the pleasure of seeing the guys at FirstBank Amphitheater and it was by far the best show I’ve ever seen. They are absolutely the real deal.
Great interview Joe! Thankyou for asking questions that fans will be interested in; rather than quizzing the band with a monotonous script. Keep up the fantastic work.
For being a fan of a lot of great bands in the late 60s and '70s this band brings😎 a lot of great memories it's sort of a mix of the past and now and it's really great to hear this generation grasping the past with the new and mixing it together🌄 and it's really uplifting and consciousness and poetic and loving and joyful and the interview was great and being humble and laid back the way they are was really enjoyable to watch the interview was really awesome😎 I'm your fan hopefully I can see them in person soon thank you it's a very very very enjoyable to watch brought some really great memories as well😎
LOL yeah back in the day like you said when we got album we play it and then set the album in front of the stereo and read it from cover to cover.I still have my albums! My boss told me about these guys and I've been listening to them all day long and yeah they're just awesome I love them so I'm going to be getting their new CD or maybe their album and not sure yet yeah they're amazing!! 😘
Steve Lukather must be thinking, “They really get it.” After he just put out an album that was recorded with everyone in the room. These kids do the same thing almost subconsciously.
Hi TUGP.... yes we started opening 4 days a week instead of 6 back in July. We’re open Monday/Thursday/Friday&Saturday but hope to go back to 6 days a week very soon. We open 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Get there before 3:30 to have enough time. Actually some visitors stay all day..... according to if you read everything, watch the videos and walk the complete museum exhibit space. Hope to see you here.... Best....Joe
Wow these guys really get it ! They understand what aspects of music and recording made the Vintage rock and Pop stuff so great . Everything recorded today is so over quantized , and over auto tuned that the soul and spontaneity that made music in that era great is sucked right out of it . They get it , and it certainly shows in what they do . I'm telling you these guys are JUST what music needs today !!
I have truly enjoyed 3 interviee never ws. He asks some really great question about their techniqu, examples of how they create their music; soes meeting questions I've never asked before and avoided the dreadeplabd LZ or Robert
Ha! I knew at least 2 or 3 of them had to be brothers! Also, is it just me or does Josh have some kind of accent? Bit English. More than his brothers at least. Or is that how they sound in Michigan?? Lol either way, adds to his good looks 😂
i couldn't help but notice that sam is awfully quiet in this interview... he didn't even say anything when you asked them if they're having fun. i'm probably reading into it too much but i hope he's doing okay!!
Hi Space Cat.... thanks for watching... funny and creative name you have.. made me smile... I don’t think Danny was nervous at all. Maybe when they met Duane Eddy but the rest of the interview I felt they were just having fun. Thanks again for watching... Joe
