The software to program the Modicon M171/M172 is EcoStruxure Machine Expert HVAC (former SoMachine HVAC).
The software can be downloaded from our website:

The EcoStruxure Machine Expert HVAC is free but the user will need to register the software.
The user will need an account in our License Portal in order to register the software:
www.se.com/ww/...
In order to program the Modicon M171O you will require the programming cable TM171ADMI to download the application from the laptop to the controller.
In order to program the Modicon M172 you will require a miniUSB cable (TCSXCNAMUM3P or BMXXCAUSBH018) or if you are using the M172P an ethernet cable.

buenos dias excelente videos. se puede comunicar un m172 pdgg 42r y pantallla hmist6400 por ethernet, o se tiene que habilitar algun puerto en especial

It is old... in the newer version of EOTE you have the possibility to select on the driver config the HVAC controller (improve communication... in theory).
