It honestly amazes me that they can compose such beautiful music all for just a mod in a video game. The amount of effort they put into their work is incredible.
I love this theme so much. It is both glorious and ominous. It is a dark echo of Valyria and a perfect theme for the struggle for dominance House Targaryen has. Add in the pure apocalyptic consequences the possession of dragons can bring forth and this theme creates a perfect tapestry.
It’s crazy that people do all of this quality work for free man. I absolutely adore this mod and its team and I am eternally grateful they take the time and effort to give us such a great experience.

Love this track, feels like having your sanity start to slip and the ideals that you once followed being thrown out in embracement towards an impenetrable new self that cannot be stopped nor any longer reasoned with... Truly becoming a dragon.
While listening to this, during the first part I imagined scheming and backstabbing in the shadows, glares and whispers behind each other backs, dragon eggs hatching and babies being nursed, unknowing of the grim future that waited for them. Then the singing lament started, lower at first, and I imagined armies gathering and marching, dragons both young and old being saddled for war and mothers kissing their barely grown sons heads and their husbands lips goodbye as they departed their homes and castles, both rich and poor, thinking it might be the last they see of them. Then it picked up slightly, and the dragons took flight, armies squared up against each other, the skyes got nebolous and covered the sun as darkness blanketed the land. Then it picked up louder and louder, as the battle started, armies clashed and dragons fought in the sky, with violence and suffering never seen before. Screams, fire and roars everywhere as thunder cracked as the world came apart. Then the singing lowered, the now thunder less sky and rain snuffing out fires and washing away the blood, the dragons all dead, the men all dead. Then at the very end no more singing, dragons eggs hatching again, and a new generation born anew, left behind to pick up the slack, only for the shadows of malignant whispers and scheming to start over again.
I’ve been enjoying my tour of Westeros so far: it’s been “fire”…an absolute “blood”y blast… This and the Riverlands soundtrack are my favorites, but I love them all! Great job, CK3 AGOT team!
I’m so lucky I get to experience this mod and these original soundtracks. Thank you to all the members of the mod team for scratching my ASOIAF itch that will never seem to relinquish. I went to war with my dragon for the first time today and heard the amped up version of this, beautifully done, got me out of my chair hyped 😂 I love this song
The lyrics evoke a sense of grandeur and power, reflecting themes of fire, blood, and the elemental forces of nature. The imagery suggests a narrative steeped in mythology, possibly alluding to the rise and fall of empires or the struggle between opposing forces. Emotions of strength, ferocity, and a primal connection to the earth are prevalent, creating a vivid tapestry of sound and meaning. The repetition of certain phrases enhances the intensity, drawing listeners into a world where the raw power of dragons and the brewing conflict
I listen to this driving around after every time I lose a Fantasy Football match (yes its crazy). Revenge is such a sweet meal and this melody defines that.
In Elder days, Long ago we ruled the lands of the rivers and hills strong undefeated , kings in our right , yet when the dark nights came in the Fire and Roar of beasts unknown to us brought ruin like no other to our shores we werent kings anymore nothing but plebs to the might of the Dragon we were ruined

In CK2 agot you gotta manually fight the dragon yourself. You'll get an event when someone has deployed their dragon and you got 2 options either watch your army's morale get utterly decimated or try and fight the dragon.
I did a ck2 Daemon the Rogue Prince run yesterday. Me and Corlys took over the step stones and i became the king of the narrow sea. I embraced the pirate gods and became the Pirate King of the Narrow Sea. I pillaged and burned Tyrosh, Myr, Lys, Volantis, and Pentos. Then turned my ships around to Dorne, Oldtown, Lannisport, HIghgarden, Storms End, Driftmark, Dragonstone, and the crowning jewel of my pillaging: Kings Landing. In the skies flew the king himself Viserys Targaryen on the dragon "Dreamfyre" we danced in the sky Bloodwyrm's red clshing with Dreamfyre's blue. And by the end of it the King of Westeros and his dragon fell to the ground and perished. Kings Landing was burned and looted leaving Rhaenyra to rebuild her scorched holdings. And i Daemon Targaryen became known as "The Red". The greatest slaver, dragon rider, and pirate the world had ever known. I went back to the Stepstones to enjoy my riches and sired a new branch of Targaryens. Eventually falling into depression I went back to the home I burned: Kings landing . Not even the Queen Rhaenyra attempted to stop me. Cowering away to some other part of Westeros. My legion of pirates sacked the city again. We stormed the red keep. And as we destroyed every last vestige of resistance I wandered in the halls and court yards where i trained, made jokes with my brother, watched the the city I butchered once as the commander of the gold cloaks, burned to the ground as the Pirate King and now observed as a broken man with nothing to show for but blood on his hands. I took the balcony.... then flung myself from the top of the Red Keep...
I do not remember taking any direct inspiration from anything specific. I did want to channel that Targaryen energy and it seems me and Ramin Djawadi had some similar visions.
