Just here to say that my bf and I are also currently ring shopping (through Brilliant Earth too) and it’s 100000% okay to want to have a say in a piece of jewelry you’re going to wear for the rest of your life!
I’m a very type B person and not a “control freak” but still wanted to have a say in my ring! I’m very picky with jewelry and other things I wear, so that was something we both wanted me to have a say in. So we worked on designing it together and he’s going to *try* to surprise me with more of the How of the engagement. He sucks at keeping secrets though so we’ll see 😂
