"Start saving when you're young," probably the truest words ever spoken on this channel.
It's like going to the Morgan Stanley site to get advice on rare guitars...
Norms the man, anyone that can buy and hold sought after goods like that for 30 years...dedication
The most amazing thing about it all.....there are 10,000 guitars in that warehouse, and Norm know each and every one of em, where he got, what he paid, the whole deal. Norm is my hero.
$300 Steve in Indonesia is my super hero He gave Norman cash to give to his employees Didnt Frank Stallone have his guitars made in Indonesia ? A lot of guitars are made in Indonesia I bet Steve could make me a really nice copy of a 59 strat or any other guitar I wanted to have built $ and you couldnt tell the difference
That many?
Maybe tell us background like... How many square feet is warehouse, how do you control the climate, how track inventory, do the guitars get checked/tuned/played? Nuts and bolts...
Instead of being in storage, There should be a "Normans guitar museum" for these beauties to be admired !
Reminds me of Jay Leno and his cars. He said always buy what you like, and don’t sell anything!!
Incredible collection, and he remembers every single guitar
Warehouse adventures. Everything we never knew we always needed.
The best guitar shop by far
great people, great guitars
Better pizza, popa John’s
That 59 strat looks brand new. Amazing.
Great intro Norm; so true. Wish you guys made more of these "warehouse run", vids. They are amazing. Seriously incredible collection, wow. Love that Lemmo just wants to play them all. Haha, awesome.
Great vid Norm 👌 and great advice. You probably don't realise what a difference you guys make during these times. Much appreciated 🙏
thank you Keir!
you are so right this little show got me through some bad days, always feel better after getting my guitar fix LOL
Funny you mention this i started a serious collection around covid time and ive accumulated many guitars from $250 to $6000 ive started working on collecting amps lately i did pedals before this but i lost so much interest so fast ive learned there a blessing when used under certain conditions/circumstances but ive never really had a serious collection in the past these things i know will either bring me money on a cold day or give me fulfillment on every other day in the end they do there part these guitars take care of us as much as we take care of them its why we love them so much and cant live without more its a sickness of the healthiest kind ❤ thanks norm!
It always blows my mind how well Norman remembers what's in tha box!
Norm, the way you started this video is truly awesome. Saving and thinking about the future is what many people tend to forget in this world of instant rewards. You're the best!
Fascinating to see so many great and/or unusual guitars when their cases are opened, but after about 5 minutes, I start aching for some sound examples.
There are lots of uploads of playing in Norm's shop, but every so often, it would be great if a few of the electrics could be taken out and shown being played through an amp.
Oh My God................. This is every guitarists paradise
Man it’s like the Bitcoin of guitars Amazing !!
Crazy Stuff ! Only Norm...
Excellent advice about saving & start saving as young as possible!
Norm,
What a museum collection you’ve invested in over the years, and not even the tip of the iceberg compared to what else we could only imagine that is inside of those containers. Timing is everything. 🎸
Amazing Collection 👏
Nobody can do this nowadays....You are A LEGEND !!!! Kindest regards from France . take Care , we love you 🥰
Norm has one of the biggest stockpiles of guitars in the world. Man, I’m amazed every time they do a warehouse show. The beautiful guitars he’s acquired is nice. Out of my price range at the moment but nice.
Awesome
The legendary norm ❤
Who knows Norms. Can be a good financial advisor.. Thanks Norms
Welcome to Normanland.
Norman Harris... the best guitar dealer on the planet. Wise man with wise words, one day ill visit the store!
Un-Freakin Real... Time to start saving my quarters!🤟🏻😎🎸🎶☮️😍
“I just gotta say one thing. When it comes to Norms Guitars, Norms Guitars is for the children” “I just got this new suit and it costed a lot of money, but Norms Guitars is for the children”. 👐👐👐
love to spend just one day looking at everything I was born in 1962 and to see a guitar that old in great condition blows me away, Thank you Norm and the crew one day I will get there.
This must be what it's like to walk through the vault at Fort Knox !! NORM RULES !!!
Norms advice for saving and collecting at a young age is very thoughtful. I wish I could meet him.
Great advice Norm. Kids listen to uncle norm
Inspirational
Thanks for sharing with us great collection
Great Video ! Love seeing all of the amazing instruments 👍🏻🎸
very nice stuff there , good advice too..
Norm is right about collecting at a young age. I started to collect antique radios from the 20's, 30's, and 40's about 40 years ago with about 200 in all. In the last year I've been slowly letting some of them go to get a return on my investment and it's paid off big time. So I can understand Norm's advice, it's a retirement plan of sorts. Perhaps one day, I'll sell off enough to purchase a Gibson SJ-200 from Norm. Thanks Norm for the great advise and amazing guitars!
and guitars have been a positive investment for the last 50 years. now thanks to younger players like greta van fleet and ditzy taylor swift , guitars are as popular as ever. you think 20k is high for a strat now? they will be fifty before to long.
Norm, i love this channel, i love learning the instruments and the great players that influenced those instruments. I am getting concerned that the great wealth of guitar history is being exposed and on display because their great collector has reached a point in time whereby he may be considered a 59 LP or 31 D28. Stay here, stay healthy and pass the torch on to a deserving group so we can continue to learn and have access to music history.
I'm 61 and have never saved a thing in my life except regrets, grudges and hurt feelings. Better than nothing, I suppose, but Norm's way is better
i,m 180 from you..i wonder why?
@@johnsmith-bk4ps I don't know, but I plan to hold a grudge against you for at least a month
I’ve been in the this warehouse...with Norm...and I’m telling you it’s just like this. The one day we looked at at least 15 pre cbs Strats...Teles...Jazzmasters...all real..no refins and ALL IN CUSTOM COLORS....
What a paradise! Can’t wait for ep 2

Imagine having those babies side by side in your collection.
Fantastic fantastic video.
Amazing, norm is a legend.
Loved this video!! Stay safe man!!
Man, I own a handful of guitars and I always worry about a house fire or flooding when we leave the house unattended for any period of time.. I can't imagine the worry and burden on Norms shoulders having all those incredible instruments in one spot..
I want to cry when i see so many F AMAZING GUitars. Really. I am from poor country and for me it is just impossible to have one of those.
Just remember..it’s always better in our dreams, so save your dreams buddy. Staying healthy is the most important factor in our lives.
@@Retro.Studio that is true...
keep trying, get a gibson melody maker, its really as good as anything, maybe change the pickup. they arent expensive and they are excellent. guitar center has one for $1500 right now. dont give up!
great advice in the beginning norm!!! i see in my 20's year old kids and their friends that they all trade stocks and aware of the saving world that was never pushed to my generation. that warehouse is amazing
I know little about guitars, and even less about playing them, but these videos are fascinating.
Great stories behind every purchase. I hope the young ones next to you... Lemmo and Brandon are taking notes. Thanks for sharing!
Really appreciate your videos guys! Wish I lived near so I could shop by daily. Love every video!
Is this all Norm’s warehouse? I assumed he just rented some space here and had a few crates from previous videos. Appreciate the recommendation for others to invest young. I started with 7 guitars a couple years ago and have accumulated nearly 100 from buying and selling.
american made guitars will always be 'the ones' you may be surprised how much your 100 guitars are worth in 20 years. and could very well be a solid retirement fund.
love these warehouse videos Norm. Much love from New Mexico.
Amazing!!!
Amazing
Imagine buying all of this and remember where or when you bought it, amazing
I feel like I'm on a guitar safari watching this video. You really showed us some primo guitars this time.
That blue Esquire...Took by damn breath away.
"This is the Kind here" - Norman Harris 02/10/21 9:47
whoa. just imagine.... wow.
Respect your guitars guys and girls. they aren't just a pice of wood :)
I hope the fire protection is good. It would be like New York MOMA burning down, but worse!
Amazing savings Norm 🙏🙏
I’d LOVE to have that Thunderbird! I have a modern Epiphone version with almost the exact same case except the case needs to be redone on the interior!
WOW ! the White1962 Fender Telecaster Slab Board looks stunning .
I gotta visit your shop one of these days .
it's insane .... :)
Wow. Has that 59 ever even really been played? (aside from off the wall in the store it was showcased in orginally).
More of these videos Norm!
When people say Norms got guitars in warehouses..WoW no idea it was like this holy crap!!
I bought a surf green Jazzmaster , pre CBS....dead mint...
Yeah, keep them guitars out of the hands of players. It ain't the guitar, it's the player. I"ve never seen Norm play because he's not a player, he's the collector. Good for him. Great guitars all over the place and they are not rare or hard to find.
He has played with lemmo
@@TheGman70100 You mean lame oh? Never heard of lemmo. Don't need to know how to play fuckin tick tack toe to be a collector.
The reverse tb bass looks sweet.
Great message about savings early and investing early into SAFE stocks. I wish my parents would have told me that sooner.
Wise words Norm.
Thanks for sharing.
A bit sad no one is playing these beautiful instruments.
This would be a great start to a Norman's Rare Guitar Museum.
It could be a Virtual Museum with sound.
on the contrary its a happy time. these have been preserved for decades to now be sold to musicians around the world to enjoy. so many have been lost to fire etc. good job norm!
I felt like givin a thumb down also by pure envy, but i didn’t. i took a deep breath and gave a thumbs up 👍 and one day i hope to be in a position where a could by one of those beauty’s. Thank you norm for keeping my dream alive 😁
keeping a good positive attitude is what will allow you to someday own an excellent guitar like one of these
The best advice no one gave me, I had to figure it out on my own a bit late.
Really enjoyed this, need to win some money lol
That Lake Placid Blue Tele was pretty amazing.
absolutely, that esquire was my favorite. beautiful color with the rosewood fretboard.
@@allstopblue5717 you’re right it was an Esquire I get use to saying Tele because of the abundance. Esquires are more rad.
nacy wilson has a blue tele, one of her favorites
When is episode II? Love me some old teles!
Recall to roll the dice
I absolutely love seeing these beautiful instruments and hearing the occasional origin story. As a side, am I the only one who gets incredibly nervous watching everybody walking around with $100-200k in vintage guitars laying out on the floor though?
7:30.........the Ray Davies, Justin Hayward model.
“I remember where I got this one”...... er........ um......... Love Norm...😂
unbelievable!! wow!! as im sitting here looking at my epiphone les paul!! ughh!!
I love 'em all but I can't stop thinkin' about that red Mungo Jerry Strat. Lemmo should play In The Summertime on it for the GOTD.
Can you please give me the link of that episode? Thanks
Damn! How many guitars are in the warehouse? I need to make a trip to LA
Amazing vid. Hope you're well. I wish I could support. One day ;)
thank yuu....may i have anotha....episode 🙏🏼
Nice Norm
Would love to see some Gibsons next time.
Those are kept in the dumpster behind the warehouse
@@MK4vDubbin that's because you don't own One 😎
@@MK4vDubbin Ha, even as a Gibson fanboy I can appreciate the humor here.
Warehouse Gibson video please
When he talks about stashing away the good condition guitars and stumbles it's basically because he doesn't want to say on film 'because I know they will be worth way more if I had them away for years'
Liked before the video started
Norm,
Looking for an es335 lefty player grade but nice! I'm in your database. bought a 2006 fender strat deluxe from Mark few years back.
Is this entire warehouse Norm's?? Meaning, the building and the crates.. It would be absolutely unreal if all the crates are filled with guitars..
Norm, Some of those guitars looked fake to me... I'm gonna help you though, I'll send you my address and you ship them to me for further evaluation and I'll send 'em back when I get done. And if you've got any '58 Burst, send them also...
Hey man, I'm just trying to be helpful, anything for you!
Take care and be well!
Beautiful video, thanks for sharing!
