It would've had to loop around the front of the gun's muzzle when Indiana fell over the edge of the tank, or somehow been unclipped open from one end, wrapped around the barrel, and the reclipped closed. Neither one of these things happened. So what gives?
Anyone else notice that when the turret popped off when it hit the ground, you couldn't see inside the vehicle? I guess it's the dangers of using models with CGI in movies.
It's actually a tractor, They altered it so it's meant to look like the liberty tank which is the mark VII from ww1, they added that top turret though. Oh, because it's equipped with cannons it's a Male.
No it isn't, There are several official books that cover in detail the intentions of the director as to what the tank was supposed to look like. They wanted a Mark VII, but not precisely so as it'd be ineffective in the movies setting.
they actually are correct, they are Bergmann MP35. This movie is set during 1938 and the Mp38 would have just been coming out, this is actually a nice touch by the prop department
