That would be true but... there is was no great flood and no ark. It's a fairy tale. Do the math with all land dwelling species and imagine them in one boat for a year
I saw a news reel when I was a small kid at the movies. I think around 1960-63. It was an old 8 mm or possibly 16 mm film of a Turkish man and a young teenager boy on the deck of the ark. There was a ladder going down into the interior but the deck was huge and very long. Massive. You could tell that it was completely thawed out where they were and part of it went into the snow and ice on the mountain. The boy was running around on the deck and the man went into the hull down the ladder. I couldn’t believe it but it was actual film that I never saw again.
Here ya go! Here are the links that will take you INSIDE Noah's Ark which has been found beyond any doubt! TLDR - scroll to the last video! The elevation of Noah's Ark on Mount Ararat is believed to be 16,946 feet (5,169 meters) above sea level, which is the height of Great Ararat, the highest peak in Turkey. It's EXTREMELY difficult climb. Making it to this elevation with anything other than your own gear makes it far more difficult. It would basically be impossible for anyone to bring that amount of wood to that elevation. Finding an EXTREMELY LARGE wooden structure would have been prohibitive by the mountain to build. The shape of the ark as prescribed in the Bible has been scientifically studied and is actually INCREDIBLY stable in the water and virtually unsinkable. Go figure! During WW2, areal surveillance captured photographs of what appeared to be Noah's Ark resting high on Mt. Arat. Unfortunately, the photos were lost during the war. According to a 1974 book, around 200 people from more than 20 countries claimed to have seen the Ark on Ararat since 1856. * 1969 ***In 1969 Elfred Lee and the S.E.A.R.C.H organization climbed the summit of Mount Ararat, the biblical resting place of Noah's ark. P.S. BEWARE the SCAM ARTIST: Ron Wyat.Ron has desperately wanted to find the Ark. He found a GEOLOGICALLY EXPLAINABLE ROCK formation which looks like a boat/wooden merchant vessel; however it has been verified and re-verified that it's JUST SIMPLY a ROCK formation. Noah's boat wasn't designed to make speed sailing around with a pointed bow and square back. It was a large unwieldy rectangular shape.
What I have been saying for years. It would have been used to build homes or something. It wouldn’t have just been left there and forgotten. Listening to some of these searchers though it is easy to know God isn’t moving in them. It’s Satan whispering in their ear to move them to do this in the attempt to make Christians look like fools.
That would probably have happened if the "boat" hadn't been pulled down the mountain a few miles by a mud flow. Humans can avoid such things... an exceptionally large stationary object can't.
Irrelevant. The name of that mountain is not Mount Ararat. We call it that after the fact due to the sensational claims. Your reply to the fact presented in Masis, or Agri Dagh?
“Every story has an origin”. Well, yes. The origin can be one’s imagination. People in the past were just as imaginative as we, and there is no reason to believe that they could not have made up entirely fictional stories.
@WorldWokeApeCult I agree, however, it is very reasonable to think that they were as suspicious and skeptical as us as well. And I don't think they would have accepted and passed this story on if they didn't really believe in it. Besides, it has been mentioned in different places all over the world. I believe that what happened back then is slightly different than the story we have in our hands. But something definitely must have happened. Someone has seen the rising water at some point and pointed out to his people about building a raft or something. He might even have built a real boat and started taking his own cattle or something..
@@Oddball5.0 This is the nonsense that comes from mistaking declaring as a boat (possibly willfully) a natural rock formation that any reputable geologist would recognize as a doubly folded syncline. First of all, a major warning sign of pseudo-archaeology includes "discoveries" pitched directly to the media. The pseudo-archaeologist knows his or her claim will not stand up to scrutiny by actual archaeologists, nor will their dubious "data" ever be capable of passing the rigorous peer review requirements needed to achieve recognition and publication in an independent science journal, so it gets pitched directly to the media. Secondly, the flood story itself is filled with hyperbole that would have been recognized by its ancient audience as a figurative description of an event in order to produce an effect and make a point, and NOT as an example of ancient journalism. That the Bible frequently uses hyperbole in this way elsewhere can be illustrated by many examples.

@@sunkisseddutchess6521 There is also the historical accounts of pilgrims actually going to the Ark and taking pieces of it away. If true that means it likely did exist long into antiquity. Those accounts also give a clear clue that it could not be on the hard to reach and very inhospitable mountain but on the much lower plain. It fits well that it sliding down the mountains to the site would put it where pilgrims could very easily come to it. Then the pilgrims and time could have stripped what was visible away until what was left was the remains under the mud and earth covering it The Durupinar site fits those historical accounts as well as the bibles. They did a scan that shows that underneath the ground there does indeed seem to be straight central pathways and rooms under the structure consistent to the Ark that most definitely is not natural .

I once tried to have a reasoned discussion with a creationist, and it was an absolutely futile endeavour. If I brought up Darwin, evolution, or the fossil record, he would just say, 'Darwin was mad', 'evolution is a hoax', and 'fossils don't really exist'... that's all I could get out of him.
"Is Genesis History" site on UA-cam has a lot of amazing evidence that supports creation, if you're interested. Many Christians don't know enough about science to objectively discuss the issue, which is typically why you get those types of responses. Anyone seeking God will find him. :)
Darwin wasn't exactly a first-rate intellect though, was he? He looked at what we now call a glaciated river and, enamoured of Lyell's long-age escapism, imagined it being carved by the piddling river meandering along its flat bottom; it's not the lack of modern glaciology, it's the appalling lack of understanding of basic fluids and solids. Then he pondered finches' beaks when logic should have told him the focal point of any process must be the egg. I believe he's done enormous damage to science as a trustworthy enterprise and greatly diminished the reasoning power of anywhere evolution's taught as fact - it's astonishing to consider that he might have disconnected billions of people from the simple truth of 'cause and effect' - in that order. Ask anyone how evolution works, and you'll almost certainly get "Things change and helpful things will give the creature an advantage in the struggle for life." Of course, the wording can change greatly, but the key is that I've yet to meet anyone who begins with a cause for 'things change'. So, what's your understanding of what evolution achieves and how it functions? One other small thing: have you ever pondered how much of your understanding of existence is based on direct Mk1 eyeball observation and how much is based on information from those in whom you place some degree of faith?
@@nemo6686 Evolution is fact. Thistles from someones garden are showing. Just go watch animals, including us, eat other life as it tries to run in fear. Put yourself in its shoes. If my Granddaughter was God she could create better than that. That's evolution, plain and simple. Oh, and nothing evolves faster than Abrahamic religions.
…the Bible doesn’t give a true estimate of how old the earth is…it NEVER said so. Time isn’t even linear anyway, so how would we know God’s time versus our time? Plus, we used to go by the stars and moon charts, so time was measured differently anyway throughout history. If anything, the Bible doesn’t really give a timeframe of all of the events. It just gives some of the events an approximate. Seriously people…religion isn’t meant to be so straightforward. No other faith is taken so out of context. Text is meant to be interpreted. The events can both be true and yet some of the information misinterpreted…I believe there is truth in it. I never say never, because wisdom is in knowing that you “know” nothing. If it cannot be proven, that doesn’t make it impossible or improbable, it just means it hasn’t been proven but is still possible. Can we stop shitting on each other? It’s absolutely asinine and counterintuitive. Stop being so full of yourselves.

@@XXathleticsXY That’s the difference. I reacted to the science as it became available with time, eventually making different decisions for different members of the family, depending upon the risk of the treatment compared to the risk of the illness to them. Even changing my decisions along the process. 300 or 3000 years ago we knew very little, but today we know a little more, ignoring what we now know is not an option for a thinking person.
If we add up all the information and consider the religious and mythological tales as reflections of real events, we can hypothesize that the Great Flood occurred between 4,000 and 12,000 years ago, with the period around 10,000-12,000 years ago as a possible time of great global floods. Bible (Noah), Epic of Gilgamesh (Utnapishtim), Hindu tradition (Manu), Other cultures, in all these moments of history there are writings that represent the exact same thing described by Noah. Of course, even for those who do not believe in anything, there are FACTS WRITTEN at different times and by different people... that describe everything as having happened. So this tells me that YES the great flood happened, YES it happened and even different cultures with different religions were aware of it... so it seems to me that there are few doubts in this sense.
The story of the great flood goes back to the Sumerians. Abraham and his wife Sarah, lived in a place called Ur in Sumeria . Abraham was a faithful man of God. One day God told Abraham to take all his family and belongings and leave Ur and settle in a new land called and start a new nation of people. It is said that with them they took the stories of the Sumerians .
In my opinion this is mighty the area where the ark was built in constructed it had to be built in constructed before it could sail also that you see little indentations in the ground and things like that they were not perfect in building the ark itself now when the flood waters came along and the weight of the ark the animals and everything taken in consideration there's indentations into the ground to me this is where is a good starting point
Complete nonsense, as any knowledgeable geologist would tell you. Evidence from microscopic studies and photo analyses demonstrates that the supposed Ark near Dogubayazit is a completely natural rock formation. It cannot have been Noah's Ark nor even a man-made model. It is understandable why early investigators falsely identified it. The unusual boat-shaped structure would so catch their attention that an eagerness to be persons who either discovered Noah's Ark or confirmed its existence would tend to override caution. An illustration of the degree to which caution has been disregarded by supporters of the Noah's Ark hypothesis is shown by the mistaken identification of a metamorphosed peridotite with crinkle folds as either gopherwood bark or casts of fossilized reeds that supposedly once covered the Ark. Furthermore, if the Creationism Flood hypothesis were valid, the "dead animals" represented by fossils in this limestone must have died in the supposed Flood, and these fossilized remains are found in channels that cut the supposed Ark. Therefore, the supposed Ark is older than the deposits of the supposed Flood, and this relationship in itself conclusively refutes the hypothesis that the structure is the preserved remnants of the Ark.

Yes it always amazing what you can pick up if you approach something with a sceptical but open mind. That rock formation might have been the inspiration for the ark story because the dimensions fit. I remember having a mountain formation in Northern Ireland being pointed out as the idea behind Dean Swift's Gulliver's travels because in the distance it does look like the profile of a giant lying down.

I've talked to people that live in that area and they all know that Noah's ark is up in Mt Ararat just like the bible says. The information has been passed down from generations
Ron Wyatt already discovered it in the 1970s (perhaps 80s, I don't recall) and the Turkish Government made the site a protected National Park. Check out Wyatt's videos on it and decide for yourself---he really knew his sh** and there is no doubt in my mind he clearly found the "S.S. I Toldja So" in the mountains of Ararat. James Erwin worked with Wyatt and declared that the Ark was already found.
A few simple questions: under what possible conditions that a boat could be placed at a height of 13,000 to 16,000 ft of elevation? Would it require a water level of at least 16,000 ft above sea level to float the boat to such elevation? And in the absence of a basin of at 16,000 ft elevation surrounding the Mountain of Ararat, would it require just about the entire world be submerged? Would that wipe out the human race on earth except Noah and his animals? How the earth was re-populated with human after the great flood?
The story was created like many in Genesis to be understood more on an allegorical or spiritual level. It may have been the memory of some local flooding which to the inhabitants may have felt at the time like the world was drowning. Tales from the old testament would have been passed down orally as few people could read or write back then. To take it literally is insane, the bible itself contains numerous parts which contradict or can't both be true, you end up with literists trying to explain how a man lived in a whale for 3 days.....
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. The story of Noah's Ark itself requires: a) That all scientific data relating to the age of the planet be incorrect; and b) That all scientific knowledge of genetic diversification (evolution and DNA sequencing) is wrong; and c) That a ship was built to house approx. 2.3 million animals (land based species x2) d) That Noah was able to collect animals from the America's, Australia/New Zealand and the Pacific Islands (Polynesia/Micronesia); and e) That that ship as described in the bible was big enough to hold those 2.3 million animals + food for 40 days (at a minimum considering it may have actually taken months for the flood waters to fully recede). Meaning they all had to fit into a space of 300 x 50 x 30 cubits which, if the cubit is approx 40cm (length between the elbow and the tip of the middle finger on an average man), equates to about 120 meters (L) x 20 meters (W) x 12 meters (B) - This equates to the total volume of six (6) Olympic sized pools... For 2.3 million animals - Approx 1.25 cm3 of space per animal. f) EDIT: That Egyptology is completely wrong considering the first dynastic period is approx 3,000 BCE to 2,800, BCE. g) EDIT CONTINUED: Babylonia??? Then you have to find the wood (no iron because it's pre iron age) that dates to approx 2,350 BCE, which also resembles a ship (hard ask because due to the flood, Noah and Family would have had to rip the Ark apart for building material and fuel as most of the wood would have been, well, under water). You would then be required to find a physical confirmation that it was Noah (writing or a body that can be genetically tested to be the single source of all human DNA) because you can't rule out that back in 2,350 BCE some tribe didn't find an alcove on the mountain to build a hideaway village because they were sick of fending off all the arsehole pillagers around... Those pesky Babylonians. If you somehow found new scientifically verifiable ways of geologically aging the earth, understanding DNA sequencing AND explaining biodiversity whilst figuring out how 2.3 million animals and 8 humans fit into 6 olympic sized pools for 40 days without it all ending in a shitshow, THEN we can have a discussion on whether Noah's Ark is potentially a factual story... Potentially... Until then, these types of documentaries will continue to make me laugh by how seriously they take this BS... Anyway, I'm heading off to Westeros to go catch me a dragon...

With the guidance of Ferdinand Narvara, drilling in the ice where wood was found by Narvara in 1955, more wood was extracted

In 1969 wood was extracted by the S.E.A.R.C.H Team at the 13,000 ft. elevation of Mount Ararat, the landing place of Noahs Ark. The wood was laboratory tested to be 5,000 years old.
ua-cam.com/video/O_HfFXrGYqY/v-deo.html
* 2008 ***The initial discovery took place in June 2008. In October 2009, an exploration team made a major breakthrough when team members entered a large wooden structure buried under volcanic rocks and ice, and proceeded to conduct field studies, take measurements and collect samples, with the entire process filmed. This is the first team in history to ever visually document the interior of the wooden structure on the mountain
The location of this archaeological site was rediscovered in june 2008 by the local mountain guide Ahmet Ertugrul also known by his nickname Parasut. Here is the actual video:Noah's ark - observations archaeological discovery mount Ararat (p1)

All you have to use is LIDAR, this radar will show you exactly what is under the foliage
There's really not much foliage on top of the mountain.
@@BarbaraGodin Even better, LIDAR can also see under snow
They already did it is the Ark
@@JeremyWilson-x5f Bollocks
@@JeremyWilson-x5f Nonsense. Any professional geologist would recognize that natural rock formation as a doubly plunging syncline, and nothing more.
Wouldn't Noah have used the boat for lumber/building materials after the flood? Or even as fire wood? Just a thought
The boat was made of rock wasn't it ?
I find your logic offensive to ma feels..
That would probably have happened if the "boat" hadn't been pulled down the mountain a few miles by a mud flow. Humans can avoid such things... an exceptionally large stationary object can't.
Absolutely!!!
For starters, the Bible says the Ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat, not mount Ararat!
What doesn't amaze you that Noah's ark is found or that Noah's ark is found on the mountain peak of the biblical location!
Irrelevant. The name of that mountain is not Mount Ararat. We call it that after the fact due to the sensational claims. Your reply to the fact presented in Masis, or Agri Dagh?
I do admire the dedication and sense of adventure here even though I think it doesn't literally exist.
Richard Bright took some real interesting photos from Ararat if I remember correctly.
One good man can save the world.
These individuals are heroes. I believe every story has an origin, even if it's exaggerated or overestimated, but there's always a starting point.
Yes, a big regional flood. That's it.
@@TutTravelsVlogs Stories are passed along because they have meaning, it’s true.

Through modern science, we are becoming increasingly aware of how God has crafted the universe around us. Hundreds of years of research in geology, paleontology, biology, and many other fields have produced abundant evidence that the earth is billions of years old and that fossils and geological features formed through many processes over eons of time. Today, 99% of PhD biologists agree that plants, animals, and humans formed through evolutionary processes.

That's the point of religion, to condition people into lying to themselves and each other without remorse.

Myth is right. Nothing new.
Weird video. There is no Ark. No flood. No reason to go looking. What a waste.
then why did you watch the video?
jesus christ, obviously not since it's a story taken from the Epic of Gilgamesh
It doesn’t matter if they find it ! If God himself down people who don’t want to believe won’t!

It was lifted from the Sumerians the names were changed to protect the innocent
“These 5 men truly believe that the events in the Bible really happened”. This statement in the beginning of the doc tells me all I need to know about it. BULLSHIT. lol
As long as theyre happy and trying to do the right thing i dont see anything wrong with this. After all, its hard to be morally upright...try it....although i definitely wouldnt be a creationist or even agree or argue with one. Liked the documentary though. It was interesting but not what i originally thought it would be 😊
Edit: Dr Cline brings the reality to this.
I want my 50 minutes back . . .
😄
TRUE FAITH BELIEVES WITHOUT SEEING AND JESUS CHRIST SAID THESE THAT HAVE NOT SEEN THE SON OF MAN AND BELIEVE ARE BLESSED. As SOON AS THIS EPISODE STARTED TALKING ABOUT APOLLO MOON WALKERS I KNEW IT WAS A HOAX!
It exists but it not meant to be found
I bet the boat was long gone many years ago .. even if noah himself didnt destroy it ... nature surely would have...
I honestly dont thibk noah would have destroyed it because of what it symbolized to him but those who came later wouldn't have held it in the same regard
how many kids got raped, beaten, tortured, killed while"god" looked over him...
I've talked to people that live in that area and they all know that Noah's ark is up in Mt Ararat just like the bible says. The information has been passed down from generations
Yes they knew iron
Ron Wyatt already discovered it in the 1970s (perhaps 80s, I don't recall) and the Turkish Government made the site a protected National Park.
Check out Wyatt's videos on it and decide for yourself---he really knew his sh** and there is no doubt in my mind he clearly found the "S.S. I Toldja So" in the mountains of Ararat.
James Erwin worked with Wyatt and declared that the Ark was already found.
To bad they don’t use lidar
Saying you're almost there is not the same as you've found it! So yet another myth that was not found lol
fancy lying to the shepherd saying ive been on the moon.
Noah nocked up his daughters, it’s in the bible. In his defence, he was really drunk that time.

The story of Noah's Ark itself requires:
a) That all scientific data relating to the age of the planet be incorrect; and
b) That all scientific knowledge of genetic diversification (evolution and DNA sequencing) is wrong; and
c) That a ship was built to house approx. 2.3 million animals (land based species x2)
d) That Noah was able to collect animals from the America's, Australia/New Zealand and the Pacific Islands (Polynesia/Micronesia); and
e) That that ship as described in the bible was big enough to hold those 2.3 million animals + food for 40 days (at a minimum considering it may have actually taken months for the flood waters to fully recede).
Ron Wyat seems to have been closer to the mark…
Absolutely no question. The Ark remains are of almost identical dimensions to the US Navy's 22,000 ton Florida Class battleships commissioned in 1911.
Wyatt was a huckster who hustles money from businessmen and TV producers in return for film rights. No one who invested cash in Wyatt ever saw even a glimmer of actual empirical scientific evidence because all of Wyatt's videos were frauds. Christianity has a tremendous legacy of encouraging scientific research, building on the belief that all of nature is God’s creation. Also, it's worth noting that the first ancient readers of Genesis 6-9 very likely saw its primary message as theological, not as ancient journalism.
The only thing Wyatt found was how to snooker businessmen and TV producers into investing in his enterprise in return for film rights, but no one who threw cash into it ever saw a shred of actual empirical scientific evidence supporting Wyatt's claims because all of his videos were carefully constructed frauds. Even Wyatt's wife now admits he was a fraudster.
@@francisbusa1074Good luck building a wooden boat that big.
Bs, might as well be searching for the tooth fairy, time to grow up.
