    We stayed in On Nut for two months. Our son had Japanese food 70% of the time. Haha. In the past, we stayed at Jasmine Grande hotel near phra kanong and we also ate a lot of Japanese food at the mall. Phra Kanong and Ekkamie have more Japanese communities it seems.

      Specific areas in PK where I can focus on getting my AirBnb to explore PK?

    • @banglamungian2022
      @banglamungian2022 11 місяців тому +2

      @@jnsa9454 as you probably already know, AirBnb bookings shorter than 30 days are not allowed in Thailand. And if you need something for more than 30 days it makes sense to check out the area yourself before you decide. That being said, I like that some of the smaller side sois off of Sukhumvit 71 feel a little like Bangkok in the nineties.

      @@banglamungian2022 How do you personally find places? What I like about airbnb is it’s easy to find somewhere before you travel for around 500USD. I worry that if I was to book a hotel for just a few days, it’d be hard to find a place and prices might be higher because you’re not paying in advance

    Every few months I have to visit Bangkok, so I live at soi 71. I love the place, not as messy and busy compare to the places before Ashoke, yet still not very far from the action. I would also recommend people to explore staying around On Nut, have a small mall with cinema, one giant supermarket, and small bar area. Unfortunatly the beer garden closed down, I used to like to visit and get all the local food.

    Hmmm….gotta say the area doesn’t look so great. Seems to be a typical unattractive Bangkok neighborhood. Maybe it would have been more interesting if more places were open. Or if either of you were more familiar with this area. I’m not sure what would attract any foreigners to the neighborhood. Regardless it’s always good to see new places ❤
