My name is CHON. Born and raised in Thailand, traveled to more than 70 cities 40 countries around the world. Been showing my country to my friends from around the world , so I decide to make this channel. Think of me as your new Thai friend, who will provides you tips and recommendation about travel to Thailand. Good food, good place and good hotel. Hope it helps.
Nice to meet you.
CHON,
your new friends from Thailand
#phrakhanong #sukhumvitroad #bangkok
I love this channel!!! An english guide done by locals, not an english guide done by foreigners 🥳
yeah! Joyce is back. Makes me happy only that. Iki is Japanese beer, Haus is German for house.
I really like the Joyce and Chon team videos!! I enjoy these off the beaten path series because I want to experience Bangkok like a local, not like a tourist. We need more Joyce please!
Thanks!
Just love watching Joyce, she is truly becoming a Thailand Ambassador. Keep up the good work.
Love Joyce’s demeanor and her English great.
Another top video !!! Thanks Chon and your cooperator !
Thank you Chon and Joyce for doing this video for us. Appreciate your hardwork and effort. Many thanks. Hope to visit Bangkok in the near future.
Oh you should visit The Goose cafe too, it’s very nice. It’s my favourite
Great sharing again! Many thanks!
Thank you for this amazing video! Can’t wait to visit Thailand! Good job as always you guys!
Thank you Chon and Joyce. This was a very good video, great information for my next visit to Bangkok.
i love joyce ! and love your train tour videos
We stayed in On Nut for two months. Our son had Japanese food 70% of the time. Haha. In the past, we stayed at Jasmine Grande hotel near phra kanong and we also ate a lot of Japanese food at the mall. Phra Kanong and Ekkamie have more Japanese communities it seems.
Thanks
Thank you
Glad to see Joyce is back to the show.
So early for once. Can’t wait to see what you get up to.
Thanks Chan and Joyce for your tour n tips, I'll be moving to Bangkok later this year this video has just Phra Khanong on the shortlist for a place to live :) Cheers
Joyce and Chon, nice video. Very well done
we love watching your video. Looking to move to Bangkok due to cheap cost of living in next year
When we are in Bangkok we always stay at Hopeland Residence Hotel. We like it. We also like the local markets and Cielo Sky Bar.
Joyce 's smile was made my day
Ha, I used to live at Life 48.
😊always love your contents . Keep up the good work and vibes ❤️
great channel. You two did wonderful guide. I am looking forward to spend my 3 days in Bangkok. Best wishes and thank you so much.
I really like the Phra Khanong area and Joyce might be the best UA-camr ever❤
Specific areas in PK where I can focus on getting my AirBnb to explore PK?
@@jnsa9454 as you probably already know, AirBnb bookings shorter than 30 days are not allowed in Thailand. And if you need something for more than 30 days it makes sense to check out the area yourself before you decide. That being said, I like that some of the smaller side sois off of Sukhumvit 71 feel a little like Bangkok in the nineties.
@@banglamungian2022 ok thanks for this recommendation 👍🏽looking forward to wandering around soi 71. Sounds like you've been living there in BKK awhile?
@@banglamungian2022 How do you personally find places? What I like about airbnb is it’s easy to find somewhere before you travel for around 500USD. I worry that if I was to book a hotel for just a few days, it’d be hard to find a place and prices might be higher because you’re not paying in advance
Wow really nice video.... good market area thanks for showing
Bangkok is also a haven for other cuisines! Curious about the moveme tuk tuks...
Every few months I have to visit Bangkok, so I live at soi 71. I love the place, not as messy and busy compare to the places before Ashoke, yet still not very far from the action. I would also recommend people to explore staying around On Nut, have a small mall with cinema, one giant supermarket, and small bar area. Unfortunatly the beer garden closed down, I used to like to visit and get all the local food.
we all need to support the local shops before the big shops pushing them out like in Australia there are no small shops anymore they going to get pushed out from markets as well rents are so high they cant earn good leaving
Nice to see Joyce 👍🏼🥰
Joyce's hair style is so cute.
Cute and beautiful Joyce!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You guys have no idea how many items on my to-do/to-go list came from your videos. If I bump on you later this year, the beer is on me!
15:31 On TikTok, someone said that the person who wrote this recipe came from the future. It is a calculation to find the whereabouts of missing family members.
Please make more videos showing famous Thai food places where locals go to in Sukhumvit 71 and also Soi 103.
I love what you do .I would love it if you checked out some cooking classes .We have been to Thailand many times and love it but never got to floating markets yet Thank you
We will. Give us sometime
I was told al lot of local restaurants and shops would close on Monday, that’s why you don’t see that open.
Monday is Asian thing 😂 even Asian's business in usa close on Monday too 😊
Dear Chon, may I suggest you to visit Bang Wa station(exit#4) after 5pm for the local street foods, we enjoyed the foods there.
It near my house !!! I will
thanks!!!
Going to visit Bkk sometime. Wanted to get Airbnb there Phra Khanong. Any specific streets or areas there to focus on? Near BTS? Further away?
Thanks for showing us Bkk beyond tourist areas. 👍🏽
SawadeeKrhap Friends from Thailand ! i have been follwing your vlogs very informative and interesting wish to watch more interesting places in BKK aside from Food and Shopping markets keep it up! from you Friend From Manila
Oh nice seeing Joyce 😂
Don't miss "Sago Three ..." a great Southern Thai food restaurant on Soi 71/Pridi 8. 😋
You be surprised, I have goggled sushi buffet so yes I be interested to see buffet food not just Thai.
Hence why I asked about the coppers buffet and goji buffet.
I have a suggestion: It would be very helpful for some of us if you include the links to Google Maps for the restaurants.
Joyce is so adorable. Please do a tour on the on nut side
Until what time do the busses and trains operate in BKK?
Can you shoot a video how to go to Erewan museum by BTS and ancient City?
The drawing on the floor is by a local homeless man. He appeared early in the COVID lockdown and appeared to become less and less sane. I think he must have had a technical job.
I hope they renovate the market. It's dark and dirty now, but I think it will be popular if they make it nice.
Have you been there? Trying to decide for myself between this area and On nut. I’ll probably be traveling to asok often though
@@10CPS my wife lives next to the market and I know the area well. If I had to choose, it would probably be On Nut as it has better shopping and the BTS is more accessible. But you would need to check out both.
I want to know how the app is spell, moveme or muvmi?
is it not the area mae nak phra khanong story was told?
Yes
😊😊😊
Hello, What is the name of the app for the electric tuk tuk? Thank you!
MuvMi. There is also GrabTukTuk now😅
MuvMi
May I know what the the tuk tuk app
Mm. lol please
Hi my friend Seems like Muvmi apps only allow local phone number to register. I have an US number.
Same here, I have an SG number. No sms otp send to my mobile number for account registration.
You look good together ❤❤❤❤ maybe next time it will be lovers from thailand hehehe ✌🏻
Can you do BTS Nana station next please
Buy two mic it cheap
I really like your channel but I’ll feel super dizzy after watching
Precise and short! That’s what my ex-wife said on their wedding night
😂😂😂555
Hmmm….gotta say the area doesn’t look so great. Seems to be a typical unattractive Bangkok neighborhood. Maybe it would have been more interesting if more places were open. Or if either of you were more familiar with this area. I’m not sure what would attract any foreigners to the neighborhood. Regardless it’s always good to see new places ❤
Joyce is hot😍
👎
Guys Where are you from? Taiwan? Malaysia?
Are you Chinese or Thai? Just curious…
Chinese no good people. Arrogant, uncultured, badly educated if at all, greedy, greedy, greedy and egocentric… lived 2years in china and saw enough to say - FCK this place and it’s brainwashed, covardly and cocky citizens
Chon is Thai and Joyce is Chinese-American.
555 🫶🏻🤔You know it’s real and authentically Thai video when it starts with oh we have to eat first because I’m hungry… 🙈🙌555 🙏
