How do these compare to the Rockville monitors? Right now I'm stuck between these and the 8" Rockvilles because they're the exact same price, but I feel like being able to get the extra range out of the 8"s might be more beneficial. Any thoughts? Thank you
Hey Matthew, Happy New Year! I am having an issue with my JBL MKii 305p monitors and I'm hoping you can help me resolve it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver for my audio interface (mackie profx6v3) several times so I don't think this is the source of the problem. I have my interface selected as my playback device and I have the Mackie ASIO Driver selected for input/output in FL Studio. I also have selected the audio interface as the output target on the master channel in FL. If I route the audio to my headphones from my interface I get a signal and can hear the audio playing, however there is no signal on the main meters and no sound whatsoever when I try to route the audio to my main outs. I have balanced XLR male to female cables connected from my left and right main outs to my left and right studio monitors respectively. I have switched the input sensitivity to +4dBu since both my speakers and interface support it and my cables are balanced. Everything is brand new and I am running out of solutions to try. Please Help!
Matthew thanks for all you do for the community I really appreciate you. I was hoping I could put in a request to be shown how to RESET TO FACTORY SETTING(MPCONE). I deleted some files that show the samples at the beginning of start ups and would like them to be shown again.. tHANKS .
Did you delete any preloaded sample packs and demos? If so I cannot show you how to get them back onto the built in drive. You have to contact Akai Pro support if you want to get them back into the built in hard drive. Or, you can download the sample content from your Akai Pro log in and put it on a SD card or USB drive.
I bought mine brand new from amazon and they played perfectly for 2 days then they just started to play very very low even at full volume. Carried it by a technician and was told the audio output ic was blown. Do you know where i can possibly buy an Audio Ic chip for these speakers? Customer support wasn't helpful.

JBL 305p mkii or M audio bx5 D3 ? For mixing mastering ?
So it doesn’t come with any of the input cables?
Don't they include some XLR cables or just other input/output?
Is there only the power cable?
What you see is what I got. Just the power cable.
@@MatthewStratton Got it. Thanks
Hey Matthew, is there a White noise hiss coming from the Tweeter?
There is a little bit of noise, but no more than the noise coming from my KRK Rokit 5s. I have to put my ear to almost touch the tweeter to hear it.
I did a video on these in Dec also. Great deal for $200 bucks. I'm very happy with them.
Nice. I’m using them all the time. Good deal for sure.
Do you think its better than “eris e5 xt”? I thinking to get one of them so could you recommend which one is have better quality ? 🤔
I have the 1st gen JBL 308 monitors I have had them about 4 years and they sound great.
Nice! I am about to connect these right now. Can't wait to hear them.

I don’t know. If they stopped working after two days you should exchange them.

According to JBLs website 82 watts. jblpro.com/en/products/305p-mkii
