I eagerly waited for honda ev. But this Is disappointing. If activa e doesn't come with home charging, it's best to forget Honda. Day 1 is disappointing.
Dont worry it has an accessory on which u can dock the battery and charge at home or office etc, no need to use swapping station if u dont want. Its a good scooter.
I checked all the videos and other media. That was not mention. Let see. January is not to long. Honda has taken a long time to launch this ev, if it's not better than other ev's, price wise and features wise, honda scooters just roll away....
@ another electric scooter was released internationally recently by honda, this scooter is very much similar to that one, if not identical. That one has that accessory.
@@prashantkashyap7280 They could have given option to charge battery at home. Also there is a battery subscription fee. One day they will decide to increase the battery charging fee and you are stuck with that. Huge Red flag
@@prashantkashyap7280 Battery swapping is a good feature but primary reason people choose scooter is for convenience and utilitarian. And that took a hit with zero underseat storage. Currently bigger under seat storage is important highlighted feature in market now!

Have been waiting since 2 yrs for Honda EV and suggested many friend to wait bcoz of the reliability but finally here with full of disappointment. 1. Subscription based battery. 2. No storage area. (Many moved from bike to scooter bcoz of storage area) 3. Colors are not that good. 4. Lack of Home charging facilities. This EV seems "Honda" to make more profit from customers in the way of Subscriptions, Charging cost/swapable battery charges and may have other hidden things too. Personally, BIG disappointment.
Most of the bigger channels are covering the all new electric Mahindras, that most of the smaller channels are now taking advantage to cover the Activa e 😂😂🔥
Battery swapping is a better option than the time consuming charging option...if priced appropriately it will b an instant hit as Honda is a reliable name in auto industry
No ones gonna ride a scooter more than 80-90 km a day Atleast 90 percent of the people…… So home charging is way better than this swappable battery which is using all the boot space which is the mvp of scooters
For middle-class Indian customers who are trying to cut expenses. Rural Indian customers who don't have a dealer /swaping station near every home/destination WILL NOT BUY Few units of electricity is not a problem for Indian customers who are trying to bring down monthly expenses, It's not a big problem to charge from home or hostel , it's cheaper than battery rental and petrol. Home docking/ charging we need. And I'm sure honda is done the same. After all they have taken long time in R&D
Trust me it will be a failure, having to pay a subscription fees for navigation, where as you ca get it on google maps for free, Batteries on subscription Mode People won't accept this Let's see what lies ahead
Your first video on Honda QC1 was totally negative. How come, suddenly you changed your tone while making this video on Activa-e? This is the problem with our reporters! Hence, personally, I would not trust anybody until these 2 vehicles are on the road & prove their worthiness on Indian roads. Thank you.
There'll be no issue with swapping scaling with Honda because of tons of service centers but The issue is under seat storage, most people buy a scooter for storage so they can do their work in traffic without taking the car out. No Charging option will be a problem for tier 2/3 cities because it's cheaper & hesitation-free.
exactly my thoughts. Currently people are preferring convinience of scooters just because of the underseat storage. And when companies are marketing bigger underseat storage, i dont understand what honda was smoking to decide this zero underseat space. It doesnt look like a competent product. Honda has to learn a lot.
It would be better if they give facility to charge battery at home like we charge mobile phones.....and give extra space to carry two additional batteries in scotty...so that we can take two connected and two additional batteries for long range maybe upto 200 kms...
I am a vida user, I was eagerly waiting for Honda ev.... After it's launch...i'm surprised, that this whole scooter is disappointing...Better option are available in market now👍
What do you mean by organic toggle , there isn't much storage space i think its not worth buying this range is also no that much swapable batteries and month fee really a waste.
pay for software....pay for battery charging....I want removable battery but want to charge at home....no option...honnda didn't talk about charger nor ready to reveal price.....ek to late haiaur us par itne nakhare.....launching only in few cities....no time line for other cities.... will better go for Ather.
Quick Question: The feature I hate the most on electric scooters in India, the power cuts off if you break. Is it true for this too? Also does it have roll back protection. That ones a bitch in traffic.
Considering the battery is not owned by the customer and rather it is battery as a service. I hope the price of the scooter (base model) will be within 80k-90k . And hope that honda gets a good subscription plans for the swappable batteries. Everything is okay but the most disappointing oaet is the boot space . You could hve atleast given 10-15 litre boit space .
We buy scooters for utility. If the bare minimum requirements like storage space is not provided who's gonna buy it? Literally every other ev scooter offer boot space so why not activa?

Crap 😕, here I was thinking Honda going to come up with something amazing. These Ev scooters are very old design and specs. Icube, Ather, Vida looking far better. It seems a flop show 😔
I thought Honda will do better in atleast EV department like in Europe and Indo market. But they proved they are the same shit planned vehicles for Indian Customers who goes after big names like Honda. Sorry for Expecting something great in Honda. Honda is only for Indo-thai markets. Please make this product as a Failure. I'm regretting for being a Honda fan boy.
Finally a 12 inch rear wheel. Welcome to 2014, Honda!
Amazing boot space ! A full 200ml bottle can fit in the dickey. Everyone was going gaga over this. Ab kharido !!

Interesting design. Should have been some proper compartment for storage though.
yes practically no storage space
Can we charge these batteries at home? I don't see any charging adapter shown anywhere.
It will be a setback if that's the case
Yes you can charge the batteries at home . Battery stations are only for emergency . That's the point of ev right ? to save money .

No boot space. less Range also...
