Ali slept through two days of his life before realising he was urgently ill. He didn’t even have days to live, and was told to go to the best place: Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in Lahore. The doctors there performed the longest operation, it took 16 hours to stitch Ali back up.
