SP 4449 starts train in Auburn, WA on 1% grade

After stopping for the high/wide detector at MP100.6, sp 4449 starts its train on a 1% grade at east auburn on the stampede sub. this was taken in 2011 during the NRHS convention.

The camera is mounted on the tender. As for the high & wide, SAFETY!!! 4449 is a tall & wide locomotive, and when operating on rails you've never been on before, you make sure everything is clear and fits.......don't need to wreck something if you can avoid it.

The camera is mounted on the tender. The high wide detector was set off due to people filming out of the vestibules.
