These basses sound pretty good, but I don't know man, 3000 Euros for a bass that is completely hand made but "feels a bit rough here and there" sounds a bit off putting in my opinion.. Also I feel like you should go over what makes this bass unique over other basses in the market - The builder specializes with PJ basses but in what sense? What separates him from other custom builders or even just getting a PJ and modding it a bit?
100% agree, if I would buy a bass for 3k, plug it in and found out that it has a noise related to bad grounding - I would be shocked. Completely handmade but with no quality control? :) The sound is superb tho
@@AlexandarShmex Absolutely. I don't see the point in spending that much money on a bass that is hand made but is rough around the edges or has issues.
I came hear and was about to type that title is misleading because there are no PJ basses that sound good. Then that opening riff... WOW! That's exactly the sound people had in their head when the PJ became a concept I think. Players just want a Pbass with some clank, not a disappointing sounding jazz bass-esque tone with weird subharmonics. This is THE PJ tone I've been wanting to hear for so long!
Sounds like every other PJ bass. The handmade nature is neat and I'm sure they feel great by and large but as far as the sound goes there's nothing mind blowing happening here.
The reverse PJ pickups are so crucial. The plinky sound of a J blended with a normal P pickup sounds so awful on the D and G strings, badly balanced with the E and A. Not so here!
From personal experience, I fully agree. I almost never use the blended/middle option, but having a switch allows a P/J (or P/MM) to get both a proper P-bass sound and a proper bridge pickup sound, which I find more useful.
Kai L is such a prolific player. Sounds so at one with the bass. Always interesting to listen to his playing!
The reverse P pickup makes a lot of sense on a P-J configuration. I find the "standard" P-J with the usual P to have thin sounding G and D strings.
I did exactly that to mine and it sounds way better and more balanced now. The E string has a bit more ring to it now.
Agree. I always wonder why more makers don't do this.
@@zhiguli8same here!
That opening groove is freaking awesome
Reminds me of the G&L SB-2! Sounds great.
If you charge 3k for a bass it should be FLAWLESS. end of discussion. sounds good though
Impressive, Impressive Riff''ng by Kai. Breathtaking sonic tones.

For 3k it has to be FLAWLESS. Literally, every single thing has to be perfect.

Wonderful bass playing
NIce bass and the blues impro was so good!
Those basses do sound good. Of course with Kai playing them, probably anything would sound good.
Great Bass player!👍
Oh they sound great!
Wow! That sounds good!
Sounds fantastic.

way out of my price range but if i ever did have need for a multi thousand dollar custom bass i'd probably go with these guys
Really nice sounding bosses, although his fingers and Amp colouration help...keep up the great werx! ✌
Awesome ❤❤❤❤
Gregor, der Bass schreit gerade zu danach, dass du mal einen Vergleich zwischen dem PU-Blend und dem PU-Switch System machst.
Das wäre extrem cool!
Nice basses 👌👌
What make & model are these Basses & what’s the $$?
Sounds like every other PJ bass. The handmade nature is neat and I'm sure they feel great by and large but as far as the sound goes there's nothing mind blowing happening here.
At least the P pickup is reversed here, which is better for the format.
this is crazy
Nice

yo that rips
Wow. That sounds great. Unfortunately completely out of my price range
Great playing with a fair crack at trying to take Frank’s bass face crown. Both basses sound really lively too.
Ah,..☝🏾😒wanted to hear more tones..like Rear PU, Front only,.. Both but PU height/ volume level balanced! Get what I mean!?? 🤔🎸✨👌🏾
Did you cut your head or is that a piece of orange fluff?

Absolutely!
Give him a stick with rubber bands on it and he can make it sound good.
Where is your father? I've watching yours videos because of him! Take him back!
More basses should come with a 3-way switch instead of a blend knob!

3000 Euros for that? Lol. Lmao.
It is hard to see if the sound is good due the bass or the player
옛날 대임대가린줄
Not P.Basses...these are JazzBasses models....🤷🏼♂️
No
@@basstheworldofficial ..the "Precisión Bass"has only one pick up (the splitted one in the middle)🤷🏼♂️
The P-Bass is defined by its symmetrical body shape. Jazz Basses are asymmetrical.
