  • In this video i show you how to slice samples on the K.O! aka The P0-33. This to me is one of the fastest and easiest ways to chop samples on the PO-33 and this video shows you how to make a beat in minutes! I love these pocket operators by teenage engineering. They're so powerful!

Hey Ricky. I've been playing thrash and heavy metal guitar for 20+ years but along the way have fallen in love with ambient, electronica and hip hop. It's opened so much of a new world of music to me over the past few years that I've finally taken the plunge and bought a microfreak and a PO rhythm and K.O. Your tutorials have been so helpful I just wanted to let you know as there will be so many other artists out there who without tutorials like these just wont take that next step. Thanks again man

That’s crazy cause my 3 most listened to genres are hiphop ambient and electronica. Check out Boards of Canada and Aphex Twin; they’re some of the greatest electronica artists out there

This is so awesome, thank you for sharing. I just picked up the PO-137 and 138. I never understood not only that you could take the melodic and split it as a drum track, but also that you could multi chain the pattern. I knew I could be like 1 - 4 - 5 I didn't know I could be like 11-4-11-33-45 etc. I really appreciate you posting this. I also love the drum pattern on this. Thanks!

This is a superb tutorial vid. Thanks for the focus on trimming and beat slicing samples on the K.O. I love this thing and it's amazing to see classic cut-up techniques applied to something that fits in your pocket. Same with the Rhythm which is pretty much a pocketable 808. Respect!

Enrique you are a smooth operator. I have picked up a lot and an op-z since the first time I watched this. Now that I understand better what you are laying down I see how you are truly working this device.... Slick. I was getting frustrated because the ko being monophonic was bothering me but then I watched this video again and it opened my eyes. I didn't realise you could pattern chain and then live record over that with your special tweak recording melodic into drum chop NICE! That opens up the almost instant wall I was hitting with the ko. You sir rock the house. Thank you for being you.
