Thank you for making this video. I have been thinking about buying this desk, and you have really helped convince me that this is the desk I should buy.
This was a great a video and definitively tampered any reticence I had about purchasing this desk. Great job. I’ll surely be using your code if it’s still applicable.
Hello, Thank you very much for your video. Unfortunately I can't find the new features from the Studiodesk page. When I order a new table, does it come with the new features right away? Are there currently only 2nd generation tables? Thanks for your help. Greats Michael
Hey Michael! The website doesn’t say those things but they all come with these new features :) so you will definitely get the new legs and the rest new features.
Great video and helpful info, thank you! I own an other studio desk by StudioDesk (The Classic Pro) and I am more than satisfied with the quality, durability and the look.
Nice that you did a new Review about this Desk man! I only whish the Desk Size would be wider and had more Rack Spaces! Do you know whats the maximum weight this desk can handle?
Hey man thank you! This one has in total of 5 unit rack space but they have other models with much more rack spaces. The legs can handle 200 kg, the desk surface with sides and other layers on the desk weights approx 100 kg, so it has 100 more kg to handle.
I'd like to know about your chair? looks comfy. Also the mount absorbers your using for your monitors? I'm using stands but it might make it easier to ditch the stands. Are the platforms holding the monitors adjustable in height?
Great video! I have the desk too. and I want to use the same monitor mount , I just don't understand why you need the mount clamp, isn't the vivo mountable between the gap? or did u use the clamp to prevent the monitor will be to far away?
Hey Vage, could you do an overview of the wiring and everything? I'm getting a desk like this in the future and the cable management you've done in the back seems pretty spot on
@@MrVahe Based on both of your videos, I'm definitely getting an Enterprise Electric. Thanks so much for the detailed setup and follow-up process a year later. I was stuck going back and forth between the Enterprise Electric and the Orbit Electric, but ultimately, this one seems to work better for me. Moving in a month, so I'll wait to push the order button, so I don't have to pull out the gaming tools (from your first video) twice. 🙃
Hey. I would say it really depends on your needs and the equipment you have/equipment you are planning to get. Because dominator is a bigger desk and can handle much more rack units and equipment
which table did you use to place your desktop pc that looks awesome. How did you mount the two monitors and is that a 49 inch monitor that fits on the studio desk
Hi, thanks for the video, I purchased one that I still dont full arm but Im afraid it may not be for me, can you please help me on this? Can you use the pc seated with the keyboard tray retracted or does it hits your knees? I see you use it standing up but I have mobility problems and can't I see there is a hole in the middle, is there some way to cover it up so I can put things under the monitor? Does the arm rest bothers you? I feel like I have to stretch a lot to use the keyboard, and lose a lot of desk space.
I’d say depends on how many equipment you have and if you’re planning to get more equipment. The commander v2 will be suitable for more rack units I’d say. And the keyboard stand is more sturdy (no wobble at all) comparing to a keyboard tray.
Is there enough leg room under the piano tray to line up the top of the desk to your arm rests? I’m a pc gamer and need to know if the piano tray will still be practical or get in the way.
It really depends on your armrest of your chair, if the arm rests are adjustable to reach then yes. In my case it aligns. In the worst case scenario if it doesn’t align for you, if you’re not going to use the keyboard tray, you can detach it from the desk.
@@MrVahe I’ll actually be using it with the same keyboard that you have, and the tray is the main reason for me looking at these standing studio desks, but if it’s uncomfortable because of leg room and armrest height, then that’s going to be the same for pretty much all desks with piano trays. So if you’re all the way up against the desk with your armrests touching the top, How high up do the arm rests need to come up? And how is the leg room?
@@gabrielcumbie7578 I too am thinking of getting this desk, which is 75" in width (just a bit more than 2 meters wide), or maybe the Xtreme, which is 65 inches in width (just a bit shorter than 2 meters wide). There is also the Orbit, which is a less-fancy version of the Enterprise but is just about the same width and also has the sit-stand capability. The two rooms I have are both about 130" wide, so the Enterprise would give me about 2 feet of space on either side of the desk and the Xtreme would give me 3 feet (1 M) of room on each side. This would leave room for a guitar, violin, trombone, or trumpet stand on either side (or both sides). Or stand-alone speaker stands or a sheet music stand or microphone boom. The less stuff on the desk, the more room for controllers and whatnot. But then again, the less stuff on the desk, the more stuff on the floor. It's a two-edged sword I guess, but either the Enterprise or the Xtreme would be good for me. I very much like the Enterprise Electric in all-white, but the Xtreme gives more floor space in the room and has that high-tech-looking carbon fiberesque surface plus a band of LED lighting along the edge. Of course, I'm handy with tools and could make my own high-tech desk if I were really motivated to do so. It's not hard to source a good sit-stand base unit with all the motors and electronics, and then just build the desk on top of that. But there's something to be said for a properly thought-out and manufactured solution. If I buy something ready-made, it'll probably be from Studio Desk. The Studio Desk website also has a comparison chart of every model they make and the dimensions, whether it has sit-stand capability, how many rack units it can support, etc. www.studiodesk.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Comparison-Sheet-All-models.pdf is where you can find the chart.
@@gabrielcumbie7578 I got myself distracted writing all that other stuff above...when really I wanted to start by saying that I just take my armrests off of my chairs. Helps me avoid a lot of problems, and also allows easy use of a guitar or cello while sitting.

Where's the acoustic treatment? :( I'd NEVER want to work in small, non treated, purely hard surfaces room like that... that's so weird. LOOKS great, but it's a STUDIO... so... acoustics first.
He said he lives in London, so he probably has a very small appartment and the studio is not a standalone room (probably a part of his bedroom). So acoustically treating his entire bedroom would be quite expensive, unpractical, not to mention the impact on the overall estethics of the room that should be taken into account when it is also your bedroom. Having a acoustically treated room dedicated to your studio and producing is great, just, a lot of people can’t do it. I live in Paris and I’m in a similar case, for the mix and more precise producing, I use high end studio headphones, I use the speakers mostly for my enjoyment or when I work with someone else. Obviously a dedicated room would be ideal, but I can’t right now and it works quite well for me like this.
@@gauthierlagrange490 headphones are very VERY different from speakers and inherently very uneven. They don't have cross-feed between elements and there's no acoustical space at all (no RT) so they sound vastly different from speakers.
