at 6:00: 'the unfortunate translations that we have...' This makes me want to puke. If our bibles are inaccurate than what's the point?

Jordan doesn't believe the bible is inaccurate. If he did, he wouldn't be delivering this lecture. He just thinks the specific english translation from the Hebrew here isn't as full as it could/should be. This is why we have teachers to help us see the depths of the bible.
      Thanks for engaging!

I appreciate the reply...I didn't say he thought the bible is inaccurate, my frustration is as a long-time Bib. Hor's. and Theo. follower, I have heard this before = inacurracies.... Jordan, Leithart, et al are rare gems as teachers and am blessed by their ministries; they are unlike other ministers. They challenge what I hear every Sunday at my own place of worship, and that's another frustration...It's not just the Hebrew, Jordan's comments on the Lord's Supper 'invocation' as memorial ( another translation 'error?') is completely different from what any pastor has ever said, and rightly so...What OT/NT translation do I refer; what is he reading from in the video? God bless you all...

Joe Jach Thanks so much for the comment, Joe! I'll check in with Jordan to see what he regularly uses. I believe it is the NASB. Thanks for the support and comments. We are going to have a new video out each week from here on out. :)
