I enjoy all these videos no matter what gun is used, but I am curious why you are moving away from the airgun for this kind of shooting? I have taken several large chucks this year so far with my 30 cal Impact and several more large raccoons at 65 to 80 yards. I had a crack at a coyote too at around 80, but I had to shoot through two chain link fences to get him and one was on an angle hard to me one way, and they other at a lesser angle the other way. Picking a hole through both was almost impossible, but I gave it a try. Didn't get him. Got two of the chucks through a single chain link fence though and the fence was out about 3/4 of the way from me to them. Nice to have an accurate gun and a good scope.
Awesome shooting Bob and Greg you guys were smacking the woodchucks and that last one I'm thinking that you got him just under the chin and it expanded right away end results one very dead woodchuck.
Lol. I'm from Texas and between my hobby ranch down here that I hunt, and my urban backyard I just about jumped out of my skin when he reached into the rocks to grab the rock-chuck. All I could think was "NO! NO! NO!" I've seen too many Cotton mouths, copper heads, and rattlers to be comfortable with that action. Be careful. Idk what dangers lurk there but snakes LOVE rock piles...at least here in TX anyway.
Hey I want to give a update if you remember me I asked in your comment about if a daisy 880 power line could kill a wood chuck. It can paired with cross man pellets. I got the chuck today from around 15 yards. The chuck was dead on the spot
