So nice I did it twice!
I love my belt key holder that I bought from Stock and Barrel. I purchased the my first one in brown and enjoyed it for two years. It was so great I purchased the black version. Fast shipping, quality product, and good service.

Watching you and your wife make your leather goods always encourages me to try some of the projects myself. I've dabbled in it with small 'what-nots' for a few months now and I think I'm getting the hang of some of the techniques like saddle stitching and burnishing edges. You all make it look so easy!

Hey there Parker! Another cool video. I just wanted to reach out and say thank you for your time and effort getting these videos out. I started working with leather about 3 months ago after I bought a kit at Hobby Lobby so I could make a leather sheath for my knife. After watching one of your videos and finishing my kit, I was hooked on leather work. Since then I have made a number of wallets, sheaths and assorted trinkets that I have given to friends. Unlike you, I hand stitch all my work and now use that as a selling point. I now have 3 orders for wallets and 2 requests for belts which I am charging for. Thanks again for your instruction and inspiration. It's become a very promising side hustle that I truly enjoy. Congratulations to you and your beautiful family on your success!

Hi Parker!! I'm so excited to find you and this wonderful video! Our son Adam (about to turn 14 this month), took a leather-working class with Scouts a couple years ago, in order to earn his leather merit badge. He was so enamoured with it, he's been doing it ever since (it's his favourite hobby). He makes wallets, card cases, keyrings, and journals, etc as gifts for friends and family...and needless to say, they have been loving getting them. Little by little, my husband and I have been helping Adam build his tool arsenal but when I show Adam this video, he will no doubt be drooling over your set-up and level of skill! Anyway, just wanted to say hi from San Antonio, TX (we're here via the USAF) and thanks so much for the video...I can't wait to show Adam when he gets home from school today! :-) PS- what an adorable family you have!!

If you tie the old color thread you cut off that’s still in the machine to the new color thread on the spool and just pull it through the machine until the old color is gone and cut off your knot you don’t have to re thread the whole thing just the needle.

Hey bro giveaways on UA-cam and IG can be done legally just as long as it's a random drawing from the list of commenters. There are several applications (websites) that can be used to grab the list of commenters from a video and choose just those. Hopefully that makes sense :)

Watching you guys growing as a family, and as a professional is has been, and hopefully will continue being such a pleasant experience.
Back in the day when you guys were cutting the Tandy Patterns by 🖐🏻 ; to now employing the technology on your bench
with just a pull of a lever, the pattern becomes proper cut leather. Now where you are able to walk to the spinning disc to
Reduce the thickness of the leather, with no error or nor danger of over cut ruining the piece you were making...👌👍🏻like it was in the beginning days ..it’s all so cool.
Really proud of you and your family sticking to the plan you guys developed , till today you’ve become a true role model for so many many
Others wishing to replicate your success, both of you willingly sharing your successes and yours learned lessons along the way.
God speed Stock & Barrel Co, you guys rock ❗️
POST SCRIPT: you guys make the most beautiful babies, and as I see it ; you two really make very good parents as well . Bet the kids have
    Really really proud Grandparents too❗️
Thank you guys for helping us all learn 🥴👍🏻❗️

    Hey Parker
Just a tip from me and please dont take this to heart. I demo latest Sewing machines on UK TV so i noticed when you was un threading the stitch master you cut the one thread (which is fine) but the other part of the thread you pulled it upwards to get it out of your machine. In the sewing working thats a big no no even on industrial machines. Your find over years the tension blades on the tension wheel will not be accurate. Your best pulling the thread though the needle area (obviously not through the needle as your needle may bend or brake) just the step above it is where i teach to pull the excess thread through, which doing this your find your never have problems with your tension wheel.
So all this information is up to you if you implement it as its your machine but i just wanted to throw a tip your way. Im sorry if you feel like im butting in etc as i love your videos and the experience you give us in the leather world.

    • @rjafmakes

Im not even going to comment about what you have said parker has taught me loads about leather i didnt know 18months ago. All i wanted to do was give him advise back regarding the machine or any machine for example because my 1 piece of advice is nothing compared to all the information his has given to us on this channel

    • @paulj3653
      @paulj3653 5 років тому +1

I have to say without causing any upset, that over the course of all Parker's youtube video's, he has used and recommended many different tools, machinery & leathers from many different suppliers actually. Also him & his family have been kind enough to give up their family time to teach & demonstrate leather making and we all have benefited in knowledge, ability & confidence as a result of it. He seems a nice guy and lifts our spirit after watching his videos. Lastly, Parker has been absolutely honest and told us he is now in partnership with Tandy Leathers, therefore he is going to be using Tandy Tools. With regards to the Tandy sewing machine, it looks like a good all round machine especially for someone starting out on a low budget. If you are starting out on a low budget and would like to buy a 'new' sewing machine, you would probably have to pay nearly twice the price for a Juki or another make. So its a good buy. Please continue to make your video's Parker and don't take any criticism to heart, you are an inspiration to us all and you are doing a good job!

    Hey Parker 👋
Here’s what I found regarding holding give away son your UA-cam channel.
You can’t give away a prize for just liking or sharing a video or subscribing to a channel and there has to be some skill involved such as answering a question or piecing together some clues. You also have to say who the contest is open to, such as US and Canada etc.
