I'm so happy you use fairly random papers because that's what I do instead of all matchy-matchy with a theme. Even the pro-Palestinian journals I am now working on to abandon at Little Free Libraries and the Senior Center will only have a few themed pages which will be very subtle. I have too many old books and plenty of other paper to use so I'm going to stick to using them up. In short (too late), I stick to true 'junk' journals like you do.
