Oh my goodness, this is one of the best videos yet! I want to try all of the quilts. My new look on flying geese and I love Natalie’s take on the geese, this is a must try!!!!! Kudos to her for showing us a different way. Thank you ladies!!
I had seen the 4 geese method on other channels but it was nice to see it done with a 5" square. Natalie explained it so well. I also appreciate how she explained trimming the blocks to work. Great job ladies!
Oh my goodness! This time I can't pick my favorite, I love them all! Jenny's quilt is so happy and comforting....Misty's tiny geese look like tiny, pretty little pieces of lace....and Natalie's geese are such lovely little flowers!!! They are all just absolutely perfect!! Thank you so much!!! Just so much happiness!!! I can't imagine anyone who receives a quilt with these patterns 'not' having a beautiful smile because of them!!!
Okay.....time to be HONEST here. I follow Jenny & the gals all the time. I love Misty's Tuesday Videos.....and this Triple Play every 3rd (THIRD) Friday is FAST BECOMING one of my FAVORITE ways to watch tutorial on Fridays!!! (and yes, it's 1:15 AM Friday morning.....I confess, I wake up EVERY Friday AM to watch the Friday Tutorials....and then go back to bed filled with anticipation for the next quilt on my TO DO list...and TBH....the list has never stopped GROWING.....(it's HUGE!!) When the gals started this newest video......well, let's be honest here, I'm partial to Jenny's tutorials. I've been watching Jenny since 2009 when MSQC began making the sporadic tutorial videos on UA-cam. Back in those early years of MSQC, the tutorials weren't every week, they were once a month (if that....it seems). I love going back in time watching Natalie make that first video or two....and bless her heart, the videos were good....but they didn't have that spontaneity that Jenny brings to the videos of today in 2020. Jenny's son Alan was quick (apparently) to notice that the videos that MSQC was putting on UA-cam lack something, and that was Jenny!!! IF you can, go back to those first videos Jenny made....and it's almost comical.....it's clear to those who watched the video, Jenny was scared to death, or so we thought.....Actually Jenny admitted in a video (I think it was for a clip for the local TV station that did a piece on MSQC....not sure) that she had tripped over something and broke her foot/leg(?) !!! So, no wonder she was sitting down through that entire video! As time went on, MSQC continued on, picking up more and more video subscribers in those early days....and these weekly videos have become a much sought after thing to do on Fridays. When Jenny started this Triple Play video....I have to confess, I didn't like the quilt....but this has happened to me before....and before Jenny was finished with her part in the Triple Play....of course I was hooked!!! I now want to make Jenny's version of that quilt from 2 Sugar Sack II Charm Packs I purchased. Then along comes Misty.....Misty is such a breath of fresh air to MSQC....she's an amazing sewist.....and why wouldn't she be? I'm sure a lot of Jenny's skills have rubbed off on her. Anyway, I LOVED Misty's quilt.....and have my own stash of Kaffee Fassett Charm Packs!!! So, there's another quilt to put on my "To DO List" . OF course.....MSQC's Triple Play saved the best for LAST.....Natalie's precise way of explaining how to create the 3rd and final quilt of the series is amazing. Natalie is an amazing quilter in her own right.....courtesy of what she's learned from her mom, Jenny! Okay....Okay....sorry for the long comment everyone but, I just had to said just how much these Triple Plays Tutorial each 3rd Friday of the month have become one of my Missouri Star Quilt Company FAVORITES!!! Good JOB ladies......and THANK you once again!! Your videos make this Pandemic "Stay At Home" order worthwhile....it really has. For those of you that are trying to find Jenny's first video....here it is, I've saved you the trouble of looking. ENJOY:ua-cam.com/video/HQM8wI95xeI/v-deo.html
Thank you sew much for being with us all these years! It's wonderful people like you that make these tutorials worth all the time and work we put into them each and every week, even 11 years later!
Natalie, you just blew my mind !!!! When I saw you do the heart part I thought , " what is she DOING?? " LOL I can't believe how that turned out !! You are certainly your mother's daughter !! So smart !! I'm soooo jealous of you girls !! Love yall very much !🌹🌹🌹♥️♥️♥️♥️😁 I LOVE YOUR BEAUTIFUL QUILT !!
ALL of these quilts are gorgeous!!! I want to make each of them. The designs are so versatile and could be used as a perfect baby quilt, lap quilt, table runner, or full size quilt for a bed! I like Natalie’s flying geese sewing method. It seems to speed up construction. I LOVE the Tripple Play!!
I love how Natalie is so much more comfortable on camera. These are really different but I LIKE ALL OF THEM. You all are such a well of creativity. Thanks for sharing your mastery of quilting.
I haven’t quilted yet but watching your video and your interpretations on the same theme I got an inspiration: how about starting with the largest pattern block in the center getting smaller towards the borders of the flying geese like a combination of the 3 different versions in degrade or “ ombre “ in size of the patches or squares... that would be fun! Love you all and what you do and have done. ❤️
Love all these methods... the quilts are so pretty. Natalie, you must be a teacher. Your calm and complete way of explaining things is terrific. I love watching you. Misty and Jenny, you do a great job, too!
Love you soooo much, Jenny...but even more so when it's Triple Play Time! You, Natalie and Misty are a great team. I love seeing just how different your minds and creative streaks work! Great video (as usual)!
Hello, Missouri girl here. The next time I drive home to St Joe, I will have to take a detour and come for a visit. I just started quilting and want to buy all the fabric. Love all of these, the first one is my favorite.
I am going to challenge myself to make Misty's beautiful quilt. After making Jenny's tiny 9 patch blocks, I think I can make the tiny flying geese in this block. Really wanted to say to Natalie.... Your hair cut is fabulous! Now you can show off all your stylish earrings. Thank you to all 3 of you. The triple play videos are so inspiring.
I love triple play, you are all such good teachers, but I think Natalie is a very detailed instructor, you all do such a great job making sure we know all the steps to each block thanks ladies.
Love you girls! Thank you for teaching me so very many things. Jenny I have been watching your tutorials since your earliest days. You inspired me to machine piece quilt. Because of arthritis so bad in my thumbs and wrists, I had quit quilting and when I heard people machine quilted I was like oh never ..never never that’s cheating lol until I saw your tutorials, then I thought wow why would I deny myself a passion I once loved so much….and now I have my sewing and quilting room and have been machine quilting ever since. I still only hand bind though after I sew the front down. Thank you god sent me an angel when I discovered your channel. Thank you beyond measure ❤
I love the Triple Plays, I always think “this is the best ever.” But this is really the BEST ever! Love all three quilts and plan to make each one. I can’t wait for the next one!!
Oh this made my day! So happy to see the three of you together in the same studio. As always love the different approach you all take to your projects. Such a treat.
I was hoping this week was a Triple Play week. I love all three of the settings, it’s hard to declare a winner - triple winners for triple play. Thank you ladies. So very inspiring.
I LOVE these triple play videos! Natalie, I can tell you're getting more comfortable in front of the camera. It's so good to see the genius doesn't stop at Jenny. And your new hairdo is the best!
I love the “magical” no-waste flying geese. It can be difficult to explain how to make them, but you did a great job! Thank you for including this alternative method. I like not having the seam down the middle of my goose. Beautiful quilts.
Jenny , I love your quilt !! Thanks for teaching me how to make this GEORGEOUS quilt !! I never could get my triangles squared up and now I can !! Thank you again .🌹♥️
I love natalies quilt. I was so sure it was complicated like Mistys I wasn’t going to finish watching. It’s beautiful . .. and not difficult. I started one for my angel tree bear and quilt project an hour later .Thanks for such I gorgeous patterns
Fabric is a precious commodity to me. I can't afford to waste the little cut off triangles (nor do I like using the tiny triangles to make little squares), so I use the "no waste" method that Natalie demonstrated. Caution though, if you're using a stripe fabric! Thanks to the three of you for your video!
Oh my I’m learning how to sew flying geese and I need practice. Your videos are awesome and it sure helps. Great job ladies. Natalie love your hair cut. Joanne

I had seen the 4 geese method on other channels but it was nice to see it done with a 5" square. Natalie explained it so well. I also appreciate how she explained trimming the blocks to work. Great job ladies!
