This is a proper hack.
@nukeracer3906 Yes it’s helpful!👍🏻
Not really a hack, more so just using a tape dispenser as a tape dispenser
@ilovelasagna5632 Have you ever thought of putting electrical tape in a tape dispenser?
This is the obvious reply, but then I realized I've never once seen anyone do this. So maybe not so obvious
I always keep a sharp blade on me. Pulling electrical tape to break it and not cutting it will make the end unravel immensely fast.
@antonmcesaro Blades work well on the go, this works pretty good on the work bench
Cheap razor blade, cut halfway across the tape, pull the rest of the way. Also biting a piece halfway across does the same thing
@TristanAD_ It sure does, this is just another helpful way to use it👍🏻
sure, I will just hang the dispenser on my bag
@borabora4480 If it fits, it ships
Did something similar using the cheap plastic scots tape dispenser. It fits easier in a tool bucket/bag.
@e.c.knivesandrazors2840 This is a scotch tape dispenser, it think it was 5$ so a pretty cheap trick!👍🏻
The utility knife I already carry in my bags is quicker to use and is an even cleaner cut... 😂
@kamikaz2817 Whatever works before for you! This is nice if you do alot of work on a workbench where it’s just easy to grab and use👍🏻
@Bluecollarindustry I guess as a hobbyist, yeah. I'm still going to have my bags on at a workbench. Every tool has its place in my bags and I hate looking for crap that I forget where I set it down.
Im not hanging that on my tool belt. If you need a clean cut, use your dikes for gods sake.
@studworth I didn’t say hang it from your tool belt😂 I said it works best on a work bench
Ooohh no. Im not getting laughed at
@mattmccoy2410 😂😂
Nice
@lukesdayoff9753 Thanks👍🏻
That doesn't really help in the field
@NexusEradication If you had it in a mobile tool box it could be helpful in the field but yes it’s mostly helpful in the shop.
@Bluecollarindustry even in a tool box it's no good. This only works with wires that haven't been pulled
bite the edge
