YOOOO, i saw your videos like 2 years ago, and really wanted shrimp so bad, i got shrimp a few months ago and i have been looking for your channel ever since! I finally found it! I hope you are doing well, thanks for inspiring me to get shrimps and wanna breed them!
I love Maidenhead aquatics / fishkeeper, been going there for years now and the quality of their service, livestock and products are emaculate! Their sumps and filters are massive aswell, can’t wait to hopefully work there some day myself!
Although you didn't mention in the Video, that's certainly looks like a Maidenhead store. We have one locally in Chester and the Marks Aquatics channel also seems to have a local one in South Wales. Seems that Maidenhead have the UK somewhat covered 👍
Can I ask a question/opinion? I'm pretty new to the aquarium hobby. I got two small tanks with some Cardinals and some guppies. I got a 240l for cheap and was wondering what kinda filtration I should go for. I was thinking two sponge filters and maybe something else?? I plan to keep at least a pair if not two of Angels and a school of tetras. Maybe rummy nose. Planted of course
great intersting video looks a good shop Why is there fish in the bottom tank the one with the wood cover at the front Why are they not in the show tanks Where is your shop can i come visit when you open again
I also work for MA but our system is slightly different. We use those Lacron pool filters rather than fluidised and static media in a sump. It the same effect, and the result is some pretty low maintenance tanks. Does your store do Marine?
Where I work I syphon the tanks and put the end of the hose into a drain section of the sump... Inevitably slips out onto the floor or the drain gets blocked. This looks so much better!!
Love the vid!!! I’ve been a long time subscriber of yours and really enjoy you content. I recently got a 500l aquarium like yours, any chance of an update video on how your set up is doing?
I really like your videos. Great delivery, very informative. I just set up my first aquarium and added some blue dream shrimp. I’ve got 2 questions about shrimp, one water related one food related. My tap water has a high ph. I’ve so much information about how to lower it and even if to lower it. My aquarium contains cholla wood, driftwood and catappa leaves, lots of plants and I don’t clean the algae on the back and sides. I’ve heard warnings about over feeding shrimp. My 2nd question is, with all that stuff in my aquarium do I really need to buy professional shrimp food at all? All about shrimp, doodely doo.
Thanks :) blue dreams are neocaridina shrimp and are very hardy. Unless your pH is over 8 then I wouldn’t bother altering it. Plus all the thing you have in there should lower it slightly. Food wise shrimps are scavengers and algae eater but it’s always good to supplement them from time to time with other foods :)
For reall....i have 2 tanks. One with crystal black and one with crystal red. I have all the things right...and i have baby's...so happy...but you dont look Christian anymore. I am sorry. But i love your video's. I dont care about relegion

That was interesting! 😁 I can't wait to get back to my local MA and just stare at fish for an hour. 🤣
Now you know 😁 will be good when everything is back to normal.

Well this is enough to earn my sub!! I always wanted to see behind the panels in fish shops I go to!
Thanks for the sub. Yeah I love to see how the systems work 😁 and you’re a fellow scuba diver 😱🤘

Anything over 150-200 litres I’d highly recommend an external canister filter.
So so cool!
Thanks :)

There is a cut out so you can see the fish in that tank :) Sure, it’s in Rutland.

That sounds like a Casco unit, those things are a nightmare to keep clean! Don't even get me started on uv changes.
Love the vid!!!

Awesome thanks :) unfortunately it’s sitting empty in the garage as we moved house and I haven’t set it up again yet :(

Nathan, do you deliver cross seas to ... places like .. Sweden? :) The t-shirts that is not the fish -.O
I believe the company does :) just follow the link and it should show the shipping details.
How many Corydoras would you suggest for a 40 litre tank?
About 3 depending on what kind
Simply Shrimps thanks for the advise! I like panda Corys
They are a smaller Cory so 3 will be ok :)
Since nobody can buy the fish, are the tanks starting to get crowded with growing fish or new livebearer fry?
I can’t say I’ve noticed them getting too big and most of the livebearer fry get eaten regardless :(
Always wanted to know what the MA filtration was like
And now you know 😁
show some of your best or all shrimp tanks in next videos
Maybe 😁
@@SimplyShrimpspls do..id like some inspiration from the expert...also just finished ur and George farmer video series
