That's definitely the way to buy a house - when it is knackered. Reminds me of ours as it was derelict when we bought it - just do one room at a time. Slow and steady wins the race. Best of luck, man.
@@SimplyShrimps I've missed my presence from everywhere except the shed I work from - business is mad and at this rate I'll either be retired or dead from exhaustion in 5 years, lol I didn't even know about Aqua Telford until it was already on so I'm not exactly Mr. Current Events - hope you had a good time there as it is a useful show.
Great to see how positive you are, that's loads of work to do, We spent last year doing the same, it can be stressful but it's worth it. We've still got the two spare bedrooms to finish! Good luck with it, keep us updated.
I cannot wait to see what you guys do. I know its exhausting, but think about all the skills you are building and how nice it will be to make the changes you WANT as a homeowner. Congrats and best of luck!
Massive fixer upper but it will be beautiful once it's finished. Looking forward to watching the progression. Especially the fish room progression in the future!
Congratulations on your new home! My Dad is a master electrician. In Canada, you have to have electrics/HVAC/plumbing done by professionals and inspection clearance before you plaster. Looking forward to seeing your home all fixed up!
Getting there mate. I've just postponed my garage refurb as the cost is ludicrous. New roof with warm roof insulation, garage door insulated and walls insulated. Just buying the gear the cost is nuts. When you get round to doing it i really cant wait to see it. Good luck in your new home mate.
Thanks! Yeah it doesn't come cheap, but we've already saved a lot doing it ourselves rather than getting specialists in. Hopefully I can manage the garage on my own too xD
Very nice bro! Can’t wait to see the garage finished! Would love a video walk through of the house too once it’s done. Wish I was closer to help. Good luck man!
Fear my L33t skillz 😂 we couldn’t resist for the price we paid in our area. Yeah had a sparky round and he reckoned I could do all the fuse board stuff myself. Bit risky if you ask me but we’ll see 😁
@@SimplyShrimps its actually pretty simple. We'll, from what I remember of my sparkies training that I didn't actually finish 😂 Yeaaaah, on second thought, maybe get an expert in. And get that spare room sorted for a visitor. 😉
Exciting Stuff, for some light relief from all the renovation work you could watch "The Money Pit". Looks like you may have everything sorted in "2 weeks". As for the garage, you could keep those thirty plus shrimp tanks, or keep ONE GIANT MEGA SHRIMP. Bwahaaaahaaaa. Best of Luck!
You’re not the first person to tell me to watch that film 😂 Maybe I’ll have to. It was tempting to put a big tank in it. We’ll see how much room there is ;)
🌺 Oh my gosh, so much to fix up on your house!!! Is everything up to code? I'm worried if adding double outlets, the house can handle it? Did you have to install new wiring? Good luck & I wish you had more help.
Thank you! No I just extended the ring wire in a few places. We've had a qualified electrician on to check it over and he's going to give us certificates :)

Hahahahahahaa. Burst out laughing mate

Thanks! Ooh wow. I don’t have that kind of money to pay for professionals 🙈😂
Can’t wait to see an update on your shrimp room, if you’ve had time to even touch it yet!
Not yet :( though I have nearly plumbed water out to it. Thinking of doing an update video soon if I can find my camera 😂
wish you all the best with your new house :) surely a lot of work but very rewarding when things are done :)

Oooh you won't have any time to get bored :D Brave of you to get a fixer upper house. Going to be interesting to follow the development!
I’m not looking forward to choosing colours for the walls 😂 but then that’s the least of my worries ha!

Already had someone into check it over and get certificates plus the plan is to make one room into a guest room 😁
Not surprised your youtube content has slowed down. You have a lot on and i hope it's going well for you. Can't wait to see how you have progressed.
Thanks for understanding. I’m still here 😂 maybe I’ll have to do an update video.

It will definitely be worth the wait, your house will be great, just a bit of a fixer upper.
Indeed. Just had to become a jack of trades in a month 😂
Welcome Home!

I try my best 🙈 I’ll keep you updated 😁
If you wallpaper any room make sure to add a shrimp painting for the futurr
For sure 😂😂
Congratulations, lot of work good luck.
a lot A LOT of work xD Thanks!
Finally it’s been a while what 4 months great gr
Something like that haha!
And that plaster work is good LOL I’m just having a room redone, plaster is over 60 years old.
It was all hidden behind the wall paper >.< Damn! Sometimes our houses need some TLC

@@SimplyShrimps Oh, ok, good.
Make sure the walls you want to remove are not load bearing walls! Hire an engineer to look over the whole house first.
Yeah we’ve got a builder in and he’s going to put a steel beam above it.
hmmmm i love grey sweatpants season ,hmmmm , i could see "everything" in technicolor
Ok 😂
Whoop whoop
boop bop!
Shrimp heaven I. Buying from u once up and going..... Oh yeah...
Thanks for your support :D
Hey buddy cool stuff
indeed!
I see you've moved into a Council Flat. lol Make sure you have a generator with lots of petrol in case of power outages due to weather.
It’s an old council house yes 😂 but we’ve bought it 😁 haha we shall see how bad it is before I start on the garage.
Setup 5kva solar
😮😮😮 ⚡⚡⚡⚡
Needs a TINY TINY tiny bit of work other wise just sleep on the floor ✌🏻😄
Haha! Check out my instagram story for the latest progress 😁
Not to be THAT guy, but I'm pretty sure you can't touch most electric stuff in the UK if you aren't a qualified sparky?
You can. Just just need a qualified sparky to check it over and test it. Then they can issue certificates. Saves a lot of money 😁
I look forward to watching you and your girlfriend knock this into shape. 😊
So am I ha! Fingers crossed it all come together 😁
😂
It's gonna look cracking.
I sure hope so :D
Proper job needed don't cut corners
Indeed!
Garage 😕
Will be great!
So I guess you need the electrics redone
