Nah. Miyaura has been an ace since high school. The National team just slept on him and relegated him to juniors level far too long. He was even Nishida's captain in the U-19 team. Miyaura said that he had to play catch up to his contemporaries being selected for the National team despite him being the ace and captain of 5x champ Waseda U and a junior mvp.
Well, he's literally second best. If nishida didn't get fat and start playing like garbage, miyaura wouldn't play a single match. Being on the bench literally means second best...😂
Both players are completely different. One is a power hitter that comes out to hit hard and serve hard and one is a “iq” player that comes out and hits smart and accurate. I forgot which match it was but nashida got like 6 ace serves in a row coming from bench. One isn’t better then the other they play in the same position but they are completely different players with their own specialty
