This was done many moons ago. I can side with your opinion, but had they hired child actors for this live show, there’d be limitations. To be fair, something like the Barney live shows involved kid actors - but then again, not only would they have to work less time, have permits / legal supervision and accommodations (i.e. education, rehearsals, guidance, emotional support), it’d be a burden to sustain these live-touring shows. Hence why these stage productions hire adult actors as they can perform more reliably, handle longer hours, and adapt to any on-stage mishaps without disrupting the flow.
My favourite part of the show was when we had to pat on our legs in order for Rocket to blast off. Then we'd raise our arms to the sky and yell "Blast off!"
