Jeremy Cameron was clearly concussed. Geelong definitely did not do the proper concussion protocols
Why can't the AFL have a formal contract detailing if you play this game, you can not go legal if you end up with brain injuries, and hence depression. Because if this continues, we will have no competition.
Husey....journalism needs u
suprised nobodys mentioned weiterings great game.
St Kilda had the biggest injury list of any club up until rd 5/6.
Factually incorrect that was richmond by a long shot
@@TheFoss04 nope 11 best 22 outs for first 5 weeks. Richmond 7-8
I dont know why the media want to stop the draws? The public says no leave it the way it is!
3:30 "you didn't see Luke Parker's goal?"
No the commentators or AFL media don't watch swans games.
Even if we win the premiership they'll just talk about our defeated opponent more.
Port was fined a significant amount for not doing a HIA and Geelong don’t even get a slap on the wrist despite Cameron experiencing delayed concussive symptoms. If a player makes impact with the ground or another player and there is significant movement they should be forced from the ground or incur a severe penalty and/or fine. Furthermore the furore Port experienced because of their inaction should be viewed as equally troubling for the Geelong team.
Too many inconsistencies plague the AFL especially when a recidivist coach makes offensive comments about two opposition players and doesn’t receive any form of punishment yet a player receives a 3 week ban.
Have a look at what a HIA actually is. It can be, and was, done on field. Combined with arc footage to monitor for symptoms, including the "red flags" for SCAT6. It is the AFLs system that needs to be reviewed. Pass the HIA there is no need to come off the field for a SCAT6.
Port were fined because Aliir was clearly knocked out before he hit the ground and did not move, along with other red flags. Cameron reacted instantly to hitting the ground and was not unconscious.
@@Sarcastic_Cow A 30 second on field assessment of a player who is clearly distracted by what is happening on field is equal to a comprehensive review. Concussion symptoms don’t always occur immediately. Furthermore this was Cameron’s second head impact. All significant head impacts should occur in an appropriate environment (off-field) which is conducive to making accurate assessments. If the game wasn’t in the balance would there be more urgency to get him off the ground and would Cameron be more inclined to leave the field?
Funny how port cop a 100k fine for the aliir one last year but Andrew Dillon says he's happy with how the cats handled cameron. How the fuck is that fair.
Anyone who has ever watched any sport in their lives could see that the way Cameron's head hit the ground and his immediate reaction that he was concussed.... But uts Geelong at home so no chance he was being told to go off 🤦🏼♂️
The AFL ticked it off, which is worse. Absolutely disgrace of an organisation with how they have suspended Greene and Wright got concussion awareness and tick this shit off where a doctor is clearly negligent.
The players in the litigation are seriously strong players, albeit too reckless. J Brown should be the forefront of this case, but again if you can gain extra money now for what you done back then, go for it. The money back then was shite compared to these days, in terms of the hardness. Fair enough
They ticked off the Cameron footage 😂😂😂. The AFL is fake as fuck.
No sorry JB, extra time in the home & away season shouldnt come in. Extra time in finals makes sense because you need a definitive result to move forward, not in the home & away season. Split the points and move on.
Stop trying to stop the draw. You want excitement, there’s nothing more exciting!
