The first student co-operative house in the UK

When we heard of the students in Birmingham trying to start a housing co-op we decided to help them create a housing alternative.

I dont think this is the first student housing coop. Edinburgh has had a big one for a number of years no?

Birmingham Student Housing Co-op was launched before Edinburgh, but only just. See www.uk.coop/newsroom/students-birmingham-launch-first-student-housing-co-op-uk - Edinburgh launched just afterwards, also in 2014.
