I understand everything but I struggle with using reference and shading.
The same for me at beginning, i find out that my problem was the "tunnel vision" and focusing too much on a single thing(like nose, lips ecc..) without looking clearly at the hole drawing im making.
I won't be able to help you on shading because l have some problems on that but keep in mind using references doesn't mean you have to draw them 100% accurately because it's time consuming and just makes you not enjoy drawing so just use reference as a way to master certain parts or poses on the human body they don't have to be perfect just simple until you feel like you want to improve further
You've improved so much with respect to lighting control when I compare this one to last year's. It definitely lifts her off the page more.

Oh, I love how you used smoked graffiti to create a background in white paper (atleast I think its white). I've been using toned paper but this is a really cool thing to add. Also to draw darker skin even on the toned paper.
I really loved your drawing style, is really pretty. Very sharp but still keep a lot from the reference. Thank you for sharing!

I hope you wouldn't take this comment offensive and it has nothing to do with your art or editing, both of them are superb, but i think you can use a grammar editor or somesort for your script. Maybe i am picky on it but, this would further improve your videos. I don't want to judge but i myself is still not that fluent in english, but there are a lot of noticeable grammar lapses that sounds too cringy.
