nice light! Im gona order one for mine. nice modifications. this my second time watching bro. i got the mirror and the alarm/horn you suggested already. Thanks bro
Nice set up! How do you have that light bar mounted? looks like you have it clamped to another short bar in front of the handle bars? I found the light, do you have a link to that extra mount you used
@@gmanhad Thank you for the info. did you end up getting shorter cranks? and if so where? I can find short cranks, but nothing under 160mm that has a sprocket attached
Thank you for the information. I ordered the x2 the first week of September, and it should be arriving soon. I will be adding some of the items that you added to your ebike.
Thanks a lot. I'm glad I can add to the community. And actually show how these products can be used and placed on the bike. Let us know how you like it when it arrives.
You mentioned that your knees are hitting your bars while riding. Might I recommend a handlebar riser instead or in combination with changing to a shorter arm? I installed a handlebar riser kit on my X2 and it really improved my riding posture. It might help your knee hitting issue! I bought a kit for a surron and it was compatible.
I thought about that, and I had one delivered. It was a 4inch riser, but the wire harness was so tight, I was afraid I would pull something loose when I turned. I suppose I can disconnect all the wires and try to reroute them to see if I can get more slack. 👍🏾
You can't go wrong with the shinko. I took mine on some light off road yesterday and it performed pretty good. The back tire wanted to slide out a couple of times, but was good for the most part. You're going to love this bike!
Yeah I like going full speed too much 😁. I got 25 miles of usable range the other day when I took it to vote to avoid the traffic. By the time I got back home, I was only able to get 20mph top speed, with very slow take off. That's why I have to install a second battery. I'm working on it.
You won't be disappointed...... unless you need big range. 25 miles if you ride aggressively. So technically, 12 miles one direction. I'm sure you can get more if you do 20mph, but I didn't buy this bike to do 20😀
@@mannymonroy they make a world of difference. Those stock tires gave me a heart attack multiple times while riding on the road. If you have some good tire spoons and a bottle of soapy water, the tires come off and go on really easy.
I would love to see how you do it if you make videos. There so many connections in that wire. They're 2 sets of hall sensor wires, and the phase wires. I saw another video say that its so much current running through the wire that it may melt a plastic quick connect like those on most bikes. I did see a video where the guy put a electrical type block in, and he could unscrew the tire side from the block. Hope that makes sense. Not sure I have the skills to cut, and redo that wire
That's not a bad idea. I never considered using those type of battery packs, but as long as the voltage is the same, it should be fine. I was looking for a lot more amp hours though. Btw, I love your videos and your energy. Keep it up.
@@gmanhad Thank you! I'm my worst critic I'll be waiting to see your solution to the battery situation. For me, 12 extra amp hours would be a big deal. I would like to use it as an emergency pack for long rides.

It's just a standard bar extender. They come in different colors and sizes too. Just search Amazon for bike handlebar extender.

A trail bike with no mud guards?
I didn't like the look so I took them off. I didn't want to draw too much attention from the boys in blue
@@gmanhad Just outrun them. lol
Just bought the EKX (OG) X21, nearly exact specs. Went with EKX when I read Freego is Metric only on screen, no choice, and I just can't!😂
No bro, the American bikes come mph on the display out of the box.

@@cirwo85 I haven't done it yet. I have just been dealing with it. When I get some time I might mess around with it

Nice. Mine arrives mid Oct. I'll probably upgrade to shinko 244 tires. More of a mix between street and knobby

@gmanhad ordered it back on sept 14th. Won't be here til around the 15th October. So tired of waiting!.
I got 40 miles of range on mine but I’m 170lbs and that was eco mode only. I made a video about it

what if you put a Dewalt 12 Ah flex 60v that's what I have been thinking about doing cause it would slide right under the seat
